The distillery is located in the country side built in a renovated beautiful old farm where you can enjoy the view of the countryside and sight of the street to Langeland. Danish Single Malt Whisky from the island of Ærø Ærø Whisky is a small unique and passionate distillery. The whisky is created with all local and ecological ingredients. The taste is a beautiful distinctive and local taste. Our single malt whiskey is gentle and round with no taste of smoke. It is made from Ærø barley and there is full traceability from the individual field via the casks to the numbered bottle. Most of the whisky is matured in Oloroso & PX sherry casks. A small exclusive batch is matured in casks made from a legendary oak tree in Ærøskøbing. Tours and tastings from April - December. See more..
