We visited here as part of an organised walking tour. If you’re looking at the front of the building from the park, then there’s an entrance on the right hand side, just down the side street. For 10 lei you can go in when there isn’t a performance on to look at the grand staircases and up into the auditorium itself. The decoration is well worth the entry cost, particularly if you can’t see a show but still want to check the building out. See more..

This street is filled with architectural beauties and this this particular building made me stop one day whilst passing by to ask what it is. I was told it was a bank, couldn't believe such a beauty is a bank. It is really an awesome and intricate masterpiece. I am not sure if it's currently still a bank. A definite must-see. See more..

Located on Victoriei street, which is famous for some of Bucharest most intricate buildings. The CEC palace I was told was once a bank by locals. It's a building you must stop and admire on passing. It is really eye catching and beautifully designed. A definitely must visit, when one is in Old Town. See more..
