The historical buildings street
This street is filled with architectural beauties and this this particular building made me stop one day whilst passing by to ask what it is. I was told it was a bank, couldn't believe such a beauty is a bank. It is really an awesome and intricate masterpiece. I am not sure if it's currently still a bank. A definite must-see.

Old street
Once upon a time, one of the most important streets of Bucharest. Now it has lost its importance but still remains interesting, due to the old, imposing buildings that you can see along it: Filipescu-Cesianu House, George Enescu Museum, Museum of Art Collections, Stirbey Palace, Roman Athenaeum , National Museum of Art, Telephone Palace, National Military Circle, National History Museum, CEC Palace. Very crowded at rush hours.

Bucharest's Pride Full of History!
When you are visiting Bucharest, you will use this main thoroughfare many times over and over passing many of this city's landmark buildings along the way. Some people choose to walk it, but it is busy, a long street to take in everything, so I would suggest what we did. We love the metro and for a city like Bucharest, that is the best way to cover an area like this. In sections, it is very easy to see a lot more of what you want to see, and like I said very easy to use. Enjoy this great historic city and it's proud street Victoriei!
