  1. 5.0 St. Brelade's Bay Beach (2.152 reviews)
    - A must visit

    St. Brelade's Bay Beach image
Absolutely stunning beach. Plenty of space, beautiful sand, clean bottomed sea and sandy. The beach offers good facilities such as toilets, cafes, restaurants and ice creams all well within a reasonable budget. Leave your chairs at home you can hire a deckchair for £3 a day, a very comfortable lounger for £5 a day, a beach tent for £10 a day, well worth the treat. Umbrellas are also available. The beach guys are willing to carry your chairs to the part of the beach you want to sit on. This beach also offers a lot of beach activities at a reasonable price. SUP, kayaks, banana boat rides, sea safari, rib rides. Car park near Winston Churchill Memorial Garden cost us £3 for 7 hours. Use the parking app as no cash or contactless. You won't want to leave. 3. 5.0 Shell Beach (493 reviews)
    - So pretty!
    Beaches
    Shell Beach image
The beaches are absolutely lovely, however watch out as there are SO many jellyfish (my partner was stung). The tide also comes in really fast so be sensible! The views are amazing, and the harbour very pretty. There’s a lot to do. However it can feel a little bit intrusive at times as it’s essentially a camping village for people on holiday. It’s also worth noting that I wouldn’t recommend it for a quick visit as it costs £10 for entry, so may as well make the day of it! See more..
  4. 5.0 Rocquette Cider (340 reviews)
    - An enjoyable experience
    Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Rocquette Cider image
As the name suggests we are principally Cider Producers. Our range consists of draught cider, 2 different strength bottled ciders and a range of 6 bag-in-box still ciders. We also produce 5 fruit liqueurs, 2 apple chutneys and apple juice. In recent years we have built an off-shoot doing tasting tours for local sports and social clubs and cruise ship passengers visiting the island. We are expanding this side of the business this year to encourage more holidaymakers to come and visit us. The latest addition to our product list is Cider Brandy. We purchased a still last year (2018) and we produced our first batch in January 2019. The maturation process takes 3 years but it will be well worth the wait. See more..

This was the headquarters of the German Naval Commander of the Channel Islands during WWII. The Signals HQ handled all the important radio signals traffic for the German Forces during the Occupation. The bunker complex was completed in 1944 and housed powerful communication equipment and Enigma enciphering machines. Over half the complex has been restored to its wartime appearance with original fixtures, fittings, objects and equipment. See more..
  6. 5.0 Beauport Beach (162 reviews)
    - Lovely white sands and blue waters
    Beaches
    Beauport Beach image
This is a small beach on the southwest of the island. Easy to find if you google it. Beaches like St Brelade's are well developed and attractive to those who like this. But Beauport beach is completely undeveloped and very beautiful: one of the most lovely small beaches I have seen. I had to put a city in, and wrote St Aubin but it's a few miles from this. 7. 4.5 Jersey War Tunnels - German Underground Hospital (5.746 reviews)
    - Absolutely must visit for adults and older teenagers

Jersey War Tunnels - German Underground Hospital image
A holiday in Jersey is not complete without a visit to Jersey War Tunnels to learn about and experience one of the most difficult periods in the Island’s history. The story of the German Occupation of Jersey is as compelling as it is strange to think that this small area of Britain was Occupied by the Nazis and forced to fly the Swastika for five dark years. The Jersey War Tunnels are no ordinary museum, they are an unforgettable experience. Dug deep into the hillside within St Peter’s Valley, the Tunnels were originally intended to be a barracks and ammunition store for the occupying forces. Today they tell the story of the Occupation, looking at how all sides coped under such extreme conditions and examining the daily dilemmas that were faced by island residents and the authorities, whether Jersey, British or German.Outside the Tunnels, you can enjoy quiet moments in the Garden of Reflection or a woodland walk along the historic War Trail. Refresh yourself in the Pantry Cafe or enjoy the shop and craft activities in LoveBird Too. See more..

High on the battlements with a view of the surrounding countryside and distant French coast, you’ll stand shoulder to shoulder with wooden soldiers who ‘guard’ the Castle from invasion. 11. 4.5 Corbiere Lighthouse (La Corbiere) (1.599 reviews)
    - Stunning Location!
    Lighthouses
    Corbiere Lighthouse (La Corbiere) image
We love attending Corbiere when in Jersey and this time we got lucky that the tide was actually out so we could walk all the way across to the lighthouse. The views from any point (lighthouse or mainland) are great, and walking across you realise just how crystal clear the water is when you see little pools with fish in! We always recommend this spot to our friends when they come to Jersey and we love attending here and often will drive here on our way to the airport as it is just a lovely place to be. An ice cream man is typically positioned at the top in the car park as well which is great for some proper Jersey ice cream! See more..

  16. 4.5 German Occupation Museum (971 reviews)
    - A ridiculously extensive collection but BRING CASH
Monday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Speciality Museums
    German Occupation Museum image
It’s an unbelievable collection of exhibits from the WWII era that is so large it would be impossible to see and take it all in in several visits let alone one. There’s something for everyone who has an interest in that era. Weaponry, vehicles, home front, personal stories (from both sides) and historical documents and artefacts. It is not in any way ‘hands on’ though so it’s definitely not suitable for small children. On my last visit 15 years ago I was booted out along with my 2 year old son because he was too noisy! The owner is infamously grumpy but if you don’t experience that then have you even visited the museum. I would say not. A footnote. That’s Alan Decicoat of Strictly and National Lottery ‘fame’ narrating on the video. See more..
  17. 4.5 Liberation Square (933 reviews)
    - Historic Spot
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Liberation Square image
Liberation Square sits immediately in front of the famous Pomme D'Or Hotel, which was taken over by the Germans during the Second World War. A touching sculpture sits in Liberation Square and is surrounded by fountains and benches. It's a lovely spot to sit and soak up the sun though it does understandably get extremely busy. If it's too crowded stroll over to the adjacent Weighbridge Place, where there are many more benches surrounding the dusty and usually empty space. See more..

Parish Church of St. Brelade image
This is a beautiful spot on the bay, overlooking the sea and lit up at night. The churchyard is well tended and the church itself is lovely - built in the same double/triple hall style but this has a small round tower. There is also a pretty fisherman’s chapel separate from the church which was the only part open when we visited due to Covid. See more..

The Pallot Steam, Motor & General Museum image
This pace is a must see on any visit to the Island and has a great deal to offer anyone with an interest in social history. From vehicles to machinery, from household items to trains there is something for everyone. Just don't expect a place where children can rush around and jump on displays; this is a place that rewards careful study and taking time to see what we have lost in the main from our rushed and throwaway society. The car displays had many vehicle types that I have owned in the past which brought home how so many modern cars are very similar to each other now. Take your time to take in the myriad of displays, written information and smells from a recent past and you will get a huge amount out of a visit here. Highly recommended. See more..

What a surprise! We really enjoyed our visit to this restored Georgian mansion - full of character, full of history. Lovely period rooms, each with a fascinating story to tell.... and sounds too! The guides were welcoming, helpful and informative and special mention needs to be given to the housekeeper/cook in costume and in role with her descriptions of foods/meals in the lifetime of the house. We are in awe at the technical expertise, time and trouble taken to breathe new life into this property. Thank you benefactor! Thank you National Trust! See more..
