We used to take the airport limousine bus to our hotels downtown but this time decided to take AREX. It is comfortable & convenient & I believe also cheaper than limousine bus. It's a lovely place to visit both day and night time. Incheon Songdo Central Park is a cozy place to take a walk with your friends, family kids, or even alone. You can feel the very fresh air and a lot of greenery of trees. It's good to rest and relax your body, mind, and soul. Please do not miss to take the Water Taxi along the canal. This 21 km long bridge connecting mainland and airport island, it takes about 20 minutes to pass , with toll gate of 20USD fee. So flagging taxi to and from airport,it's luxurious transportation but extremely expensive. The bridge run in east west direction so it's picturesque of korean sea on clear sky days.Unfortunately, it's foggy and cold freezy day during my visit. See more..

It's not the DMZ or the JSA, but it's as close to North Korea as you can get. I saw people riding bikes and working the fields in N Korea through binoculars. They were only 2 km away but seemed worlds apart. I went there with Panmunjom Travel Center and I'm pleased with the experience. I booked online and communication was clear and payment was easy. Besides Ganghwa, we also went to Imjingak and the 6.25 veterans memorial park. Pickup was on time and guide Yura was organized, informative, and professional. She's able to keep the whole group on task and on time which is not always easy in a packaged group situation. See more..

It was very hard time for korean after korean war between 1950 and 1953. This museum shows how hard life they had & lived. The three generations used to live a very small house in those periods. Gwangseongbo Fortress is one of the best spots in Ganghwa-do Island that I visited this year. The fortress played a significant role in protecting the region against enemies. If you like trekking and hiking, you must visit here and look around the spot. There are many historic sites but I strongly recommend you to visit Yongdu Dondae located in the fortress. The fairytale village is where fairytales seem to come alive! Absolutely beautiful mural art and lots of photo opportunities! It’s a perfect day trip from Seoul -- simply take the subway line 1 to Incheon subway station (about 75mins ride from Seoul Station), head out of exit 2, go straight for 200m and turn right to reach the village. Alternatively, you can also explore Chinatown first, which is opposite Exit 3. The village is located at the end of Chinatown. While in Incheon, you can also visit the nearby Sinpo market which takes about 15mins on foot from Chinatown. Highly recommend to visit Incheon as a day trip from Seoul! See more..

now a short drive from the airport. I'd take the bus from the airport or Unseo station so you can enjoy a drink. there is a great round the island hike takes five hours;. I will do that next week and write a fresh review. the beach is very nice includes a zipline and bungalows = 20,000 won per night! with the new bridge it is easy to get to. if you have five hour overlay you can defintiely make it to Muido and back.
