This place is wonderful .HIGHLY recommend water shoes .There will more than likely be a one or 2 drink guys when you enter telling you to pay .Just ignore them and have a good time this is a public free attraction .if they hassle you just say you will call authorities and they run lol, what ever you do don’t pay them .Other than that this place is wonderful With crystal clear water but be careful don’t not go after a strong storm cause the water will be very forceful ,and be careful of the rocks than can be sharp but you most likely won’t be even touch them .dont be aftraid to explore just use common sense .if you have any questions just ask . Parking space is available for a small fee and the space is limited. This waterfall is perfect if you don't want to hike too much to get to your location of interest. The river was named after a hydroelectric power plant built in 1923 that used to provide electricity to the towns close by.
