Edwin was such a great guide - personable, patient, knowledgeable, prioritized safety, and flexible to pivot if group members weren't feeling a particular activity. We were a group of six (one group of two, one group of four) with two knee injuries and two different tours booked. There was no rush to get started or to make it to a particular destination by a specific time. Kayaking through the batcave was a joy, and experiencing the natural spring water was so cool. It was also nice to meet the person who had played a hand in building the suspension bridge and had lived across the water. We would strongly recommend this tour, it's well worth the money and one of the more chill tours we did while visiting the beautiful land of Puerto Rico. My only hope is that Hurricane Fiona has not seriously injured the good people of Utuado. See more..

This was so fun! We did the Mukaro tour with Kevin who was the best tour guide and the trip was the perfect amount of hiking and exploring. It was about 5 hours long. Don’t take a backpack unless you are willing to get it completely wet but definitely bring snacks/water! I would recommend one of the little phone holders that goes around your neck. The drive up is a little rough but the experience is 10/10 and I can’t recommend it enough See more..

Bernardo and Lotty received us with love. Lotty provided in detail how they grow and care for each coffee tree to then produce the most organic and eco-friendly cup of amazing coffee. Edwin was our guide for the 4hr. Kayaking tour. We brought our 5 kids and we had an amazing experience. Edwin was very knowledgeable, answered our endless questions and we made incredible memories. The newly repainted church had a particularly musical Christmas Eve service at 8 pm on 12/24. It was very crowded and lively. It is a beautiful structure with a great statue of the archangel in front, and it dominates the town square. This town was hit very hard by the hurricane, and is clearly working hard to get business going again. A stroll around the square, a visit to the church, wandering through a few shops and a panaderia, and lunch at the Beer Garden (across from Walgreens) or Andares (near the church) make for a nice morning or afternoon. It is located between the towns of Arecibo and Utuado. It also has five restaurants that you are taken to by boat. You can board the boat from a dock called El Embarcadero that departs every hour and makes stops at all of the restaurants. Tons of things to see: caves galore!, a suspended bridge, mountains submerged in clouds, humongous rocks, bamboo trees, birds. The hospitality at Mr. Bonilla's home was unmatched.
