  1. 5.0 Sandra Farms Coffee (14 reviews)
    - Excellent learning opportunity and great views

This is an amazing finca to visit. The tour guide, Israel, is incredibly knowledgeable and gives great insights. The only issue I had was getting there - it's mountain roads for part of it and some of them are scary! But even with that me and my friends had an amazing time and I would recommend it anyone who likes going off typical tourist routes. See more..

  4. 5.0 Sandra Farms (4 reviews)
    - Coffee Tour
    Coffee & Tea Tours

Our favorite part of the experience was seeing how the coffee was processed and being able to try the coffee and the chocolates at the end of the tour. Carmelo was very welcoming since the beginning. He was very knowledgeable not only about the coffee and how it is processed, but also about the history of the coffee and how it was traded not only in PR but around the world. The street to get there is very narrow and a bit bumpy/rocky and uneven, so I would recommend taking a car that can handle those types of roads. Otherwise, the tour was really nice and I would recommend it to anyone that likes coffee or wants to learn more about it. See more..

    - Adventure is out there!

    Charco Los Morones image
Go to the spot google takes you. Park on side of rd and look for trail thru woods just past the cat house. It is a bit challenging but well worth it. You may swim in the top pool under damn, a small 'hot tub' area is there as well. Use caution swimming in this pool, as the current is strong and could take you over falls. Hike along makeshift trail to the bottom. It is safe to jump off rocks, but you must know what is under the water. Try swimming to the falls. Fun to do. This place is beutiful! See more..

  19. 4.5 Hacienda Tres Angeles (77 reviews)
    - Rain on a tin roof
    Spent 2-3 hours Farms
    Hacienda Tres Angeles image
Carla and I were looking for a nice drive through the rain forest. The drive from Ponce was good with little on no dicy bad roads. Tres Angeles has an amazing deck that over looks the coffee plantation below. On the deck is a new overhang. The day we got there it just started to rain. Perfect weather to drink coffee and eat cake. Oh the cake!! The proprietor make the cake early that morning. So good we had to buy a second slice. See more..
  20. 4.5 Puente La Hamaca (50 reviews)
    - Hello from the other side!
Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Bridges
    Puente La Hamaca image
We parked at the local business (he charges a few bucks but we don’t mind supporting locals) in the area and the owner showed us where the trail was. The hike was about 12-15 min to the bridge. Make sure you wear shoes with some traction (especially if it’s rained). If you’re lucky like we were, it was very quiet (no one but us), and you can hear all sorts of bird sounds as well as the beautiful sound of the coquí! The bridge was cool to cross. Once you cross the bridge if you take the trail to the right and just follow it, it’ll lead you to one of Hector PR’s flag paintings...another photo op! See more..
  21. 4.5 Lago Garzas (11 reviews)
    - Amazing, Stress Reliever
    Bodies of Water
    Lago Garzas image
If you visit PR, don't missed to visit Lago Garzas, beautiful and quiet, you can liberate stress. There is a Fishing Club, and you can coordinate with any members to have a ride in boat around, and visit El Puente Colgante. Too many lakes near this area. I enjoy in family, if you have a boat or kayak, will have a great day. See more..
  22. 4.5 Casa Pueblo (7 reviews)
    - Exemplary Community Project
    Historic Sites • Civic Centres
    Casa Pueblo image
Casa Pueblo is home to a community that really cares about the environment and the future of Puerto Rico. They are a show case for: solar energy utilization, coffee ecosystem and economy, integrated education and many others relevant issues for our Island and the whole humanity. I visited Casa Pueblo together with my son and we had the chance to shortly talk with Eng, Alexis Massol, visit the butterfly house, buy interesting books and souvenirs in the shop and thereafter walk to the towncenter and visit shops, talk to Serafín at the Tourism Office, and eat pizza. Great trip! See more..

  29. 4.0 Hacienda Monte Alto (3 reviews)
    - Unique Coffee Plantation Nestled in Mts
    Factory Tours
    Hacienda Monte Alto image
Monte Alto wasn't easy to find (locals had to lead us there), but it was sure worth the effort! Monte Alto is a small coffee plantation nestled in the mountains near Adjuntas. They process and roast the beans on site and allow you to go in the roasting factory. You can buy freshly roasted beans for $5/bag. After checking out the roasting operation, we were allowed to take a self-guided tour through the plantation along a nicely paved road that was lined with orange, papaya, banana trees and pineapple plants. We even ate some oranges that had fallen on the ground. It was a really memorable experience!! See more..
  30. 4.0 Catarata Las Garzas (1 review)
    - Nice stop
    Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Waterfalls
The waterfall is a short walk from the road, with plenty of space to park by the side of the road. The hike is a bit steep, and the clay can be slippery, but it's worth the effort. The water falling over the rocks is fun to climb around on, realizing that the rock is sharp and yet slippery, so you need to pay attention where you put both your feet and hands. It likely won't be a long visit, it wasn't for us, but definitely worthwhile! See more..
