Had so much fun going to see the bioluminescent bay at night and swimming. As well as snorkeling at the reef off of playa de guánica. We saw a nurse shark, plenty of fish, coral plantations, lobsters, conchs, and 2 stingrays. See more..

- 4.5 Caña Gorda Beach (39 reviews)
-omg! loved it.
Beaches
Beautiful sandy beach! Crystal Clear Water. Very few vendors on the beach when we visited, but we were there in the "off season". You can walk down the beach to drink at the hotel bar, or farther past that to the businesses near the ferry that goes to "Guilligan's Island" (aka Cayo Arroya) The Park has great shower and bathroom facilities. Or at least it did before the earthquake. I will try to update this soon. we paid $5 to park in the "Balneairo" Parking lot, but I saw later that others parked on the side of the road farther down and just walked. It's up to you to decide if you want to support the Parks System of PR. It def needs the support. See more..

-Gilligan’s Island is back in operation after the Earthquake
Spent More than 3 hours Islands • Nature & Wildlife Areas
This small mangrove island off the coast of Puerto Rico is home to beautiful undisturbed nature and calm waters. Here, you can swim or snorkel in crystal-clear waters where you'll be able to see schools of tropical fish swimming around. Rent a kayak to explore the intricate canals and surrounding islands while enjoying the tranquil ocean views which stretch for miles. There is also a picnic area on the north side of the island. You can join an all-inclusive boat tour and spend the day exploring both the land and sea with the experience of a trained guide. – Tripadvisor See more..
