    We stumbled across the ruins while looking for an old train bridge that leads across the valley. The ruins were Interesting. A local told us the oral history that a pirate lived there and would give to the town so the people never turn in the pirate to the law. Not sure if that is true but it’s interesting.     If you visit Guajataca, you must enter the tunnel and walk the trail all the way down to the beach for one of the most beautiful views of the island.
