   A nice wide beach with plenty of parking. The beach is a good place to walk, spend the afternoon and wait for sunset. There’s a stage and picnic tables with roofs for shade.     Stumbled onto this location when we were looking for points of interest in Aguada. It’s like a miniature Chichen Itza but you can’t climb on it. There are interesting stories behind the building of this pyramid, including the builder’s fascination with the type of construction of Mayan style pyramids. Kind of neat seeing a pyramid in the middle of the town. It’s flanked by a working farmhouse complete with horses and cows, and a super friendly kitten. The Coloso Sugar Refinery was commissioned in the 1820's and was decommissioned in 2003, been the last sugar cane refinery to close operations in the island.
