- 4.5 Ženska plaža (21 reviews)
-Tranquil and calm
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
I took a half day from my holiday on Velika Plaza to visit Ladies Beach, as I was intrigued by the concept. It was a good hour and a half, but I walked there from Velika along the beach and around the headland. I was well rewarded with views of the beautiful coastline, flowers, and wildlife- including wild tortoise. The path is rugged so wear trainers. There is a road running past the beach so it would be easy to get a taxi if you didn’t fancy a walk like that. The beach is a small rugged cove, sheltered all around from prying eyes. As with most beaches on this coast, some concrete platforms have been created to allow for sun beds or to lie on. A padded beach mat would be an advantage if you have one. It’s exclusively female, including staff at the small café. Very much local, but very inclusive. Be naked if you choose to be. Steps to get into the beautiful water. A lovely spot. Tranquil and calming. See more..
- 4.5 Bojana River (21 reviews)
-Nice river delta at border to Albania
Bodies of Water
The Bojana river and its "Ada" island are definitely one of the few untouched natural jewels in Europe. If you happen to be there, book a one -hour trip to the delta next to the border of Albania and see deserted beaches and beautiful nature. A good way to go there is by taxi boat (ask for "Vanja"). The only thing which makes one sad is the amount of plastic in the delta (people in Montenegro are not yet really fond of protecting the environment). See more..
- 4.5 Statue of Miguel De Cervantes (3 reviews)

- 4.0 Long Beach (Velika plaža) (550 reviews)
-Long beach
Beaches
Beautiful sandy beach, 13 kilometers long. In the morning people go for a walk and you can take your dog. Don't miss the sunrise! Deck chairs and an umbrella with a small table cost 20 euros, cocktails about 5 euros. The water is shallow about 50 meters so I recommend this beach to families with children. The only problem with this beach are the bees that are friendly but check your drink before you want to drink, don't ask why See more..
- 4.0 The Old Town (469 reviews)
-Medieval History in the Wild
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Ancient Ruins • Neighborhoods • Architectural Buildings
If you have any interest in medieval history or one to spark the interest in someone young, A visit to the old town is worth far more than the couple euros of admission. For me, even walking through the entryway, the old portcullis, was tinged with excitement. Through the entryway, the space opens up and takes you to the official entry on the left to the old town and what is, essentially, an outdoor medieval museum consisting of the remnants of the fortress and included exhibits. Having visited many such sites in other European countries, What sets this one apart is the extent to which it is unstructured an unmarked allowing you to freely wander through the available structures. One word of advice: if it is near the end of the day and they are closing down, make sure you leave before you get locked in as the three of us did, leaving us to have to scale a wall and perform some nimble gymnastics in order to escape The old fortress. This Museum is a sleeper. it opens out into Slave Square where they were sold in the early days. The Old decommisioned Mosque was very interesting. Loved the Turkish Cannon Ball Display and the Roman and Gothic artefacts. The Photos in the restored old Tower were fascinating and gave us an insight into early life here. The Museum attendant was exceptional and very helpful and knowledgeable. The model of the Old Town was very good and you could clearly see earthquake damage. 2 Euros well spent! Not to be missed in Ulcinje See more..

- 4.0 Mojito Beach (5 reviews)
-One of the best from Velika Plaza
Monday: 8:00 AM - 11:30 PM Beaches
Mojito beach was one of our favourites during the vacation and it was mostly caused by the great staff at the cocktail bar - very kind, friendly and caring people. A big plus for Mojito beach is that it isn't the nearest to the city and because of this it is not overcrowded. We were there on 1st+2nd week of September and just a few local families joined us. That was great, it is really a place to relax. See more..

- 3.0 Liberty Monument (10 reviews)
-Mounument to the WWII airmen
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Monuments & Statues
This monument commemorates the fallen fighters and civilian victims from the town and the surrounding area who perished during World War II (WWII). Part of the commemorative intention of this monument is to memorialize the Yugoslav airmen as the four concrete wing-like shapes central to the memorial sculpture are directly intended to represent the wings of soaring aircraft. - 2.5 Small Beach (67 reviews)
-Average beach at the heart of Ulcinj
Beaches
The beach is sandy and quite clean - the cleaning service picks up trash every evening. The water is not crystal clear due to the sand. It's a bit overcrowded, but we always found a place to leave our towel. The water is quite shallow - perfect for kids and families. Hard to relax due to grilled corn and smoking. See more..
