- 5.0 Mrtvica Canyon (25 reviews)
-It was very hot
Spent More than 3 hours Canyons
We went to the Mrtvice canyon in August, around noon, when it was very hot (over 30°C). Unfortunately, we couldn't choose our time. That's why we decided to go only from the parking lot to the "Kapija želja" and a little further to the beginning of "Mrtvičke grede". Then we turned back. The route was extremely difficult due to the high temperature. See more..

- 5.0 Kapetanovo Jezero (1 review)
-Beautiful Captain's Lake
Bodies of Water
We reached the Captain's lake on the way through Nikšić. The road to the Captain's lake separates from the part of Nikšić where the Ironworks is located. The road is almost all paved and good. It is about 40 km away from Niksic. About 5 km near the lake is a gravel road. But who does not want to walk, can drive a car. Still, nature is beautiful, so I recommend a walk. The climb wasn’t great, and we enjoyed it. The lake is beautiful, and there are no restaurants or similar facilities on it. From Captain's Lake there is an internship to the next smaller lake. This little lake is a few more miles away, but we didn’t go there. See more..
