   We hired two 125cc scooters, with 4 helmets, for 24hrs on Friday 23/09/22. We paid €70 for them both, and refuelled then on return. The bikes were great and the process was very easy and uncomplicated. We took Andrea's advice on which route to follow around the bay - although we deviated slightly so that we'd have the experience of riding through the tunnel between Tivat and Kotor. ‍♂️‍♂️ That's not for the faint hearted! My advice, now, is to stick to the coast, like Andrea said! The scenary around the bay looked absolutely spectacular on the scooter and the roads were safe, even riding on the opposite side of the road than we're used to. We didn't have any issues with the scooters, but I got the impression that if we had, he would have resolved them satisfactorily. I would definitely recommend Polar Star for scooter hire and would use them again. See more..

   We had 2 days out on a boat, first was the 3 hour tour which was brilliant ( George really good lad, perfect mix of easy to talk to but not too much) and really professional and safe. Second day we used the water taxi service to Perast and then Kotor, again great. Yovanna( probably spelt wrong) who arranged the booking was brilliant and made sure everything went smoothly.    On the basis of a recent walking holiday in National Parks of Croatia, I would thoroughly recommend this company. The walks were very varied in the beautiful landscapes - lakes and mountains - and we enjoyed boat trips and visits to places of historical interest as well as walking. The transport by minibus was efficient and we stayed most of the time in a comfortable hotel at Seline on the coast. I appreciated having all meals, including lunches, provided almost every day. Above all, I must commend our outstanding guide, Danijela, who was unfailingly cheerful, hardworking, well-organised, considerate and knowledgeable.     5hrs cruising in August All arranged via WhatsApp after visiting their website. Pickup from out hotel jetty and we visited old submarine caves/pens and blue cave. Dimitry was great skipper and accommodated us with no fuss. Went to bay near cave for a swim and used ringo to float on while snorkelling and our sons 18 &21 diving off boat. Returned to bay for wakeboarding and fun/ terrifying ringo rides. The lads loved it, you need strong arms to hang on at speed!!! Also stopped by small island with church for Prosecco picnic and photos. Great day on the water would definitely recommend these guys. Even returned things we left on boat to our hotel next day.     Donja Lastva is at the northern end of the Tivat waterfront. It is a beautiful seafront walk. The focal point is the Catholic Church of St Roko which is always open for visitors. It is very ornate and always worth going inside. The café Giardino is situated on the square. Great for a relaxing drink or meal. They specialise in fish which they catch themselves. There is also the hotel Carruba. You can see how there is some really nice renovations being done. Donja Lastva is a conservation area so the renovations have to be in the traditional style. Villa Ruza, just off the square is a perfect example of how a traditional stone house has been transformed without losing any of the local heritage. There is some great swimming to be had.     We walked past the narrow street/alleyway leading to this small church several times before finding it. We could only visit the church from the outside as entry was not permitted. I read somewhere that it is open at night. There is a small outdoor theatre right next to it. It’s nothing special to visit since it wasn’t open. If you are walking the Porto Montenegro promenade in Tivat, it is right there so close by you should just take a peek. From what I could find out about it, it was built on the site of a former much larger 10th century church. It was built in the 14th - 15th centuries by the Buca family near their Medieval summer house as a family chapel. See more..
