   - Atmospheric WW2 hero monument
   Spent < 1 hour Parks
   A very neglected monument to Sava Kovacevic who successfully lead his countrymen in resistance here against the German occupying forces in 1941. In the tiny town of Grahovo this massive monument records the names of nearly 300 locals who died. It’s large and brutalist in the best Communist style and is best approved carefully on its small hill as there is some rubble about. The monument was built in 1977 but an earthquake in 1979 destroyed the town which is now very much a sad and forgotten village and the site has fallen into disrepair.
