   The town is relatively small, you can walk from one end to another. It has 2 main bridges. You should be able to spend the whole day in the city, walking and explore. For photography, this is an excellent place for human interest photography. For landscape, I think it is hard to get a sunrise or sunset photo. But if you walk early in the morning, you should be able to capture the misty that surrounds the town. I did walk up to the hill, unfortunately the sunset was not so clear. For moslem, there is satay seller on each end of Hong bridge. They sells sheep satay, very delicious. Unfortunately I couldn't find any other halal food in the city. Bring your own food or order white rice, boiled egg and fresh vegetable :) See more..

   Our journey from the centre of Xi'an to Zhashui took us about two hours as the road was quite bumpy in parts, but we were able to relax and enjoy passing through the the countryside and taking a look at the real China. A lift inside the cave took us up so far and from then on we climbed. The cave was beautifully lit and the rock formations spectacular. We climbed for about forty-five minutes but the climb was not hard and could be achieved by an averagely fit person. We took wonderful photos. There was no lift going down but this was not a problem. An alternative'slide' was available and this looked safe and great fun.We lunched at a local restaurant at the foot of the cave and thoroughly enjoyed the day. See more..
