   I'd been there at the end of this year along for testing a hiking road, everywhere are evergreen,good for year round visiting. Hostel is like B&B but they don't serve breakfast as a lot of Chinese restaurant are available to serve breakfast nearby. No western food availabel as this mountain located in the very centre of Chinese hilly area. Very easy to take G Train from Beijing,Shanghai,Hangzhou here,the arrival train station is also called Yandangshan, 20minutes by local bus or cab to Chaoyangdong Parking lot where the hostel located and easy to go by shuttle bus for visiting. 2day visiting is enough if you prepare will with it. No need to hire whole day bus or car service, shuttle bus are very easy to take(you may need an English guide as there only Chinese service available) See more..

   This is Yueqing town's most famous landmark, conveniently situated on the eastern side of the city in close proximity to shopping streets. Entrance to the temple is free. Outside the entrance one there is a plethora of food and beverage vendors. The temple is situated on a hill top, thus, one needs to climb stairs for approximately 30 minutes.     When people mention Yandangshan (Yandang mountains), they usually refers to North Yandangshan, where the popular and AAAAA scenic areas are located. You'll need to stay 3 nights, having 2 whole days to explore the scenery. The most popular scenic areas are 2 Ling's (Lingfeng, Lingyan) and 1 Dragon (Big Dragon Pond Waterfall), so check those 3 places out first, then explore the others. There are plenty of photos already here to give you an idea what to see. Be prepared that Yangdangshan is very much authentic Chinese - if your diet is western food, you're in the wrong place. I missed my coffee and ham & egg breakfast so bad when I was there, the hotel breakfast is nothing compared to McDonald's. Also, credit cards are pretty much useless here, make sure you have local cash. See more..
