   I came to this park using a bus from the Ramada Hotel. The trip was short and very convenient. The park was almost empty. I met several mothers visting the park as a group with their babies. The park is almost like a forest in which the trees and vegatations compete with one another in their natural ecological habitat. However, those plants along the paths are all well designed and extremely pleasant for nature lovers. There are several trails which lead up to the top of a small hill. It is so quiet that you can leave all the noise and bustle of the city behind you and bathe your sould in semi-wilderness. See more..

   A nice excursion in the town of Shaoguan. Get some excercise by walking up the small mountain to the top, where a cool pagoda type building awaits. Go at night, and the views over the city are impressive. The lighting of the pagoda is very cool, and makes for great pictures. The walk up is not bad at all, maybe 20 minutes or so. It can be refreshing in the summer, when maybe a breeze is blowing. Get some ice-cream at one of the little vendors on the way up or down. See more..

   I always loved the traditional or asian religious places,temples etc, so it was obvious that I will go there sooner or later. Took me 15 minutes to find it, the locals were helpful and they gave me always the right direction. The building is not big but I would not call it small. The statutes inside were huge and beautiful. The temple is a Buddhist temple in case I forgot to mention it. Later I will add some new pics. See more..

    The cave is pretty cool, and a good place to get some cooler temperature during hot summer days. The museum is not very advanced, or modern, but still has some interesting artifacts and knowledge of the Maba Man time period.
