1. 4.5 Qingyuan Lianshan Datan River Drifting (3 reviews)
   - Great rafting fun!!!

   I went to this attraction with a group of colleagues for a day of fun, and it definitely delivered. This was more of a water ride than "white water rafting", but it was extremely fun and fast enough to keep smiles on everyone's face, regardless of their familiarity with water. There are lifeguards stationed at every turn and incline, so there is no risk for anyone. There are changing rooms and showers at the bottom of the river, along with lockers and small shops to purchase whatever you might need for the adventure. You are driven to the top of the river in a bus full of other "rafters", and everyone picks up a life vest, helmet and "scoop". The rafts are waiting for you in the river, where you board with one other person and begin your descent. The ride is a series of 45 degree declines followed by large pools where you float in line for the next decline. This is where the "scoop" comes in - at this point, everyone begins scooping and throwing water at each other. Honestly some of the most fun I have had with a group of strangers anywhere before. The entire trip from the top lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. Back at the bottom, you can change back into your clothes and visit the snack shops while waiting for your bus back to your origination point.
