If you have a chance to go and visit this magnificent part of China, make sure you block some days in your agenda for thos trip. Is a nice combination of nature , scenery, and magic pictures. Close to city with fresh air and nice walking paths (stairs). It's good exercise to walk whole way to the temple. Admission fee was 5RMB and walk made us sweating. Take you own towel, water bottle and snacks with you. There is no sellers on the way. But temple's small shops have nice gifts on reasonable price (even for tourists), no bargain. See more..

There is a long hike up a lot of steps which is a really good workout, if you go during early summer it will be very humid and hot and I was dying. It is very beautiful and definitely worth the hike. My suggestion is to go during Autumn though. See more..

This is a restored Ming Dynasty temple complex/monastery well worth a few hours visit. Admission is free. It is on a small hill with nice trails around it that connect to Baishuidai park. the temples are being restored and give the visitor a feel of what it may have been like centuries ago.... The giant many headed Buddha, the carved stonework, the restored paintings on the covered stairway are all quite splendid. Despite the urban sprawl now arriving at its doorstep, this complex is rarely visited and is well worth a few hours visit. See more..

This museum is quite spectacular in its simplicity and the quality and variety of its collections. I have heard that it's the largest museum of Overseas Chinese memorabilia in the entire country, but have no way to verify such information. It's in between the two well frequented malls of Joyful City and Wanda, yet draws a tiny fraction of the visitors that go to those places... much of the exhibits are items the emigrants from Wu Yi area left China with, donated by their descendants.There are life size exhibits of gold miners, railroad workers, rubber tappers, barber shops, laundries, a post office, train, airplane, and more... well worth at least an hour or two of your time. I literally grew up with this bustling night market. The whole street lit up as night falls. You will find small street merchants everywhere selling literally everything, from Chinese medicines to ice creams, from dress to socks. The best part I like when I was a kid is the local entertainment. You can find a bunch of talented local singers having a great time singing some Cantanese folk operas. Although the street merchants are replaced by indoor roofed shops but you'll still find yourself surrounded by a street full of reserved featured architects. I remembered there are movies taken from here because of these well preserved Southern China style balconies n windows. Definitely recommend to have a stroll along the river where international dragon boats competition took place. A place full of history and full of beautiful memories...... See more..

Baishuidai Park is a gem! a series of well maintained trails thru the hills, leading to some great attractions, this is a perfect place to spend the day. There is enough to keep you busy for hours, an 11 story pagoda atop the hill, a nature trail around a small pond, a collection of shrines and temples to what I assume are local deities, and some hiking trails that I have not been on. It is very popular with the locals, so it might not be the best place to go for solitude, but the natural beauty, the views, and the attractions make it worth your time. Go there! See more..

Was nearly empty when I visited, which allowed me to enjoy the site. The shrine was quite a pleasant surprise, as these type of historical sites seem to be very rare within the actual city limits of Jiangmen. In addition to the shrine there was also a pleasant walk with a long winding mural (of Chen Baisha's life I assume) and a view into the living quarters of the time period. Very interesting. Information was mostly in Chinese, with one exhibit being bilingual in Chinese and some language written in Arabic script (possibly Uighur?). No English in this section which was a shame. See more..

Xinhui Guifeng Mountain is familiar to people in Jiangmen, you can take the NO.6 bus to Guifeng Mountain from Jiangmen center. It is suitable for family, couple and teenagers. You can climb the mountain, roller skating, drive the karting, barbecue and so on. The only disadvantage I think is old, the road and the facilities seem too old, but it still can be regarded as a wonderful relaxing place. when I was a kid, my mother used to bring me here to play the children facilities. Every time my mother said we were going to Guifeng Mountain, I was very excited. Therefore, my dream is going to Guifeng Mountain to play and barbecue when I was a child. When I grew up, I also went here with my family and friends. We climb the mountain to reduce the stress and improve our health. We enjoy this happy hours, encouraging each other to climb to the top. Although the mountain is not steep, we also feel proud when we arrive at the top of the mountain. Guifeng Mountain is a good relaxing place, containing buildings, lakes, trees and lawn. 有寺院、有缆车，度假村不久也有了。空气不错，多级的石台阶楼梯上到山顶，确实得花费不少的力气。
缆车垂直高度还挺高，不过风景比起古兜财神山还是差一点。

Was very pleasantly quiet when I visited with few people there, though with more visitors I can see this place not being quite as pleasant. Nice park with paved paths make for a pleasant walk. There seems to be an abandoned and overgrown school on the premises, with part of it being used as an observation desk type room, and other room being used as a mini museum/gift shop. Key focal point of the Paradise is an ancient tree that resembles a small island. A short boat tour is given with a Chinese-language-only audio track. Some beautiful herons to be seen, though only in quick glimpses as the boat seems to speed by them. In the big picture this is probably good as to not disturb the birds. See more..

Very good if you know some background about Liang Qichao, nice scenery from the roads on the way. Refreshments available on site. Information is given in both English and Chinese so you can tour your way through without a guide. There are also arrows directing where to go and indications of the order the information and displays are meant to me read and seen. There is a more modern structure as well as a traditional Chinese one so one can enjoy the best of both worlds. There is also a nice place for photos (a little balcony/pavillion-esque near the back). Can be enjoyed both solo and a group as it is more of a informative location which you get through at your own pace. See more..
