   I visited this temple after hiking Hengshan. I entered by the back entrance, which is closer to the base of Hengshan. Entrance fee is 40 rmb. The temple complex is huge, comprising of many courtyards, temples, pavilions, etc. There is even a pond with surrounding trees and plants, providing a sense of tranquility. Many locals are offering incense and prayers in the temples. I spent about 30 mins walking through the entire compound. Toilet facilities available. Worth a visit. See more..

   2011年得4月底去的南岳，天气刚刚好，早上3点开始往上走去看日出，到山顶有些凉啊。
   不过事业很开阔。很舒服，看日出的人很多。
   上下山遇到的当地人都很热心。
   景点也蛮多的。不打算坐摩托车的朋友们要全程走路可要悠着点啊。太陡了。

    Last July, I went to Hengshan with my friends and our families. We got up at about 5 am to catch the very early high-speed rail to Hengyang (stated from Changsha). It was in my summer vacation after National College Entrance Examination, I was quite tired for getting up so early. We had breakfast in a restaurant near the entrance. There were so many people waiting for the bus to the half top of the mountain that we waited in the line for about one hour. We climbed for half of the whole journey. It was a long way but the roads were well to step. Along the route, there were many kinds of plants that I had never seen before. And the air was very fresh. As climbing higher and higher, it was very misty. I recommend you to bring a coat for warming or a rain coat. With chatting and smiling all the way, we reached the top of the mountain successfully. In the temple, we worshiped and prayed. In this way, we experienced Buddhism and Taoism culture there. But you should pay attention that the mountain road for bus is very tortuous. You'd better prepare some medicine or plums for carsickness. See more..

    Zhurong Peak is the highest peak amongst the 72 peaks in Hengshan. I hiked from the base of mountain to its midway & took the cable car. After the cable car ride, it was still another 1 hour uphill climb along the road to reach the peak. A Taoist temple resides at the top, with many locals offering incense & prayers. As I visited in beginning April, the surrounding scenery is not that great as some trees are barren. Nevertheless, I was glad I made it to the top, being able to hike one of the 5 main mountains in China. See more..

    This is a great hike with interesting stone writings and stairs carved into the walk as you ascend. At the top is an ornate dam with an amazing view down the valley that you just climbed. The trees were flowering at this time so it just added to the beauty. See more..

    去这里的时候，是在寒假，还是接近小年的时候，是跑到同学家玩玩的，主要是去看她弟弟的，因为她弟弟实在是太可爱了，在她家住了三天，而且还下雨，所以比较郁闷。自己因为走得比较匆忙，就带了衣服，其他的什么也没有带，有点不好意思，呵呵，去西湖公园是她妈妈带我去的，环境蛮好的，还在那里喂了鸽子，那鸽子全跑到手上来的感觉很好咯，哈哈。不过还想放飞它们，让它们翱翔于属于它们自己的天空。 See more..

    I usually love going to a zoo and seeing the animals at play, but this zoo was tiny, I wasn't expecting a large zoo, but my bedroom was bigger than most of the cages. And to see a Tiger in an enclosure the same size as a monkey (smaller than my bedroom) was just awful. Especially for endangered animals, there should be some basic guidelines to be able to keep these animals, I know many people dislike zoos for this reason, but I think for the sake of the preservation of a species, they can play an important role, but there was no preservation, only exploitation here. Many of the enclosures were empty, dirty, no natural environment, just a concrete box with bars and wires so thick you had trouble seeing in anyway. See more..
