   外国人にはほとんど知られて無い穴場。
   潮洲市内からタクシーで約20分ほどで行ける、広東省でもっとも古い街並みが残っている古村。
   一部は南宋の時代の建物もあるが、明や清の時代の建物が多く今もここで生活している人がいる。入口は城壁があり車はほとんど入れないので、村民の足は二輪車がメイン。中に入って古い街並みを歩くと細い路地にそって延々と続く風景は、大昔にタイムスリップした感覚になる。
   一部は廃墟になっている家もあるが、この地出身の華僑が今も自分の生まれ故郷を守る為に家を改修し残しているので、昔のこの地の人々の生活様式を見る事が出来る。
   家々の入口の門はそれぞれ装飾が施され当時の面影を残しているので、各家の門を見るだけでも飽きない。
   この村にはレストランは一件しかないが、そこの焼きそばは絶品で賞を受賞しているので是非食べる事をおすすめする。 See more..

   The hike from Fenghuang town to the Tian Chi Scenic Area is long, about 20km and takes about 4-5 hours. It's a good hike but don't carry too much and bring enough water to last you. There's a few nice scenic spots on the way up and don't be afraid to venture off the road a bit for a better look at something. Not all the best views can be seen right on the road. Once at the top you can pitch a tent and stay the night, have a fire, eat, relax, and enjoy yourself (not much else to do up there at night). If you stay the night make sure you get there before sundown so you can set up your tent because there's no light up there at all. If you're lucky you'll have good weather in the morning and get a nice sunrise and a chance for some nice photos. Be sure to bring some clothes for cool weather. I was on the mountaintop on 27 Sep and at night it cooled down to about 6-7C and was pretty windy. Morning was perfect, warmed up, no wind and fairly clear skies. If you want to see a place that most foreigners will never visit, then Fenghuang is a good place to come and enjoy yourself. See more..

   Очень интересное место - деревня, сохранившаяся и 50 лет нетронутая временем. Особенно здорово, что она расположена близко к популярному историческому городу Чаочжоу, но при этом отсутствует в путеводителях. Туристов тут очень мало, хотя все надписи продублированы по-английски. Доехать можно на рейсовом автобусе, который уходит с автостанции Чаочжоу примерно каждый час.
