3.5Manneken Pis(16.7k reviews) - Nice and quite city Spent < 1 hour Monuments & Statues
Nicknamed "Brussel's Oldest Citizen," this bronze statue of a little boy and a fountain was designed by Jerome Duquesnoy in 1619, and has become a familiar (and irreverent) symbol of the city.See more..
Usually when we talk about Bruxelles, we think immediately of the Grand Place, but there are a lot of attractions, like the squares and parks.See more..
This was a rather interesting museum. Not a whole lot to see, but a good way to spend an hour. The staff are lovely and friendly. The chocolatier was just amazing. He answered all our questions and gave us quite a few free tasters. The shop is cute with a good choice of chocolate options from around the world. However, the cafe was pretty lackluster. I would recommend it, and the chocolates were truly delicious!See more..
The Church of the Holy Cross (‘Eglise Sainte-Croix’ and not ‘Eglise de la Sainte Croix’ as listed on Tripadvisor) occupies a lovely spot next to the ponds of Ixelles. An unstable terrain to build on! Its present-day exterior is the result of the transformation of the original mid-nineteenth century Gothic Revival church in the 1940s. When cracks started to appear in the walls architect Paul Rome encased the building in a brick and concrete Art Deco shell. Inside, the church is all pointed neo-Gothic vaults and arches but we spotted several marble and wood Art Nouveau confessionals and a marble Art Nouveau vestibule at the entrance towards rue Alphonse De Witte. Worth a quick look around.See more..
3.5Ice Skating Poseidon(28 reviews) - Ice Poseidon Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Game & Entertainment Centers
Located close to the Metro system, around 10 minutes away from central Brussels. Adult price around 5 -9 Euros. Plenty of refreshments around the rink. There is a small cabbin selling waffles. There are skating aids for children. Wheelchair access is limited due to steps and barriers. One more thing, the roof opens up. If you're lucky you might just see this.See more..
3.0L'Autobus(28 reviews) - Sitting outside for a beer and a smoke Spent 1-2 hours Bars & Clubs
Sometimes unwinding after a hard day you need to have a chat and a quiet cigar. Sitting outside in the square this was easy to do. The service was friendly and pretty fast and, as you can expect, the quality of the beer was excellent.See more..
3.0Piscine Triton(22 reviews) - Too many people, condition of building not the best and strange bahaviour of people working there. Sports Complexes Short story which happened there. As usual day started with swimming pool. Was not bad, in the middle of day gym and at the end of day (about 16:30) I had sauna. I bought sauna and because a girl at reception asked me about jacuzzi I decided to buy also. Usaully I do tree sessions each about 10 minutes so during the break I thought it will be an opportunity to sit in the jacuzzi there. I didn't take my ticket and I paid by cash. After first session I decided to sit in the cacuzzi but after 1 minut older women came and asked me about my ticket. I was surprised because they never asked me before about this, but in this case if it is necesarry I think they should informed me also about this during buying a ticket. She said that will call the police even. I decided to go to cashier and explain together to older women that I bought but surprinsingly she said that they can't do anything because 10 people just came and they sit in the jacuzzi. I said that it is cheating so they decided to give my money back. But I was totally surprised because it looked like they wanted simply to remove me from jacuzzi because of them - they knew because I was the only one there in the jacuzzi so it was easy to do it. When I got back to area with sauna and jacuzzi all people sat in the jacuzzi. Of course this is only how it looks like, maybe I'm wrong. Anyway I lost time, I didn't feel well because of it, they stressed me. In general I'd say it was very unplesant situation. Good that they said sorry at least. But judge it by yourself !See more..
3.5Piscine de Longchamp(18 reviews) - Great architecture and old style pool Water Sports
Already good reason to go and see the large only 2 point suspended roof! They do their most friendly best but remain old school with many rules. Popular all week with many swimmers. Pity there's no fast lane. Slow and fast make it uncomfortable for all in a single lane. Not real much fun for small children. I still come back.See more..

3.5Parc de Roodebeek(11 reviews) - Pleasant spot Spent 1-2 hours Parks
Parc de Roodebeek is basically a mini zoo with a playground. The zoo is composed of some birds, rabbits, fish, a tired looking pony, a goat and a donkey. Can't say I was too impressed with the larger animals. The playground is well fitted however, looks new. Kings size chess board invites to have a game on the spot. All in all a good visit.See more..

3.0Barabar Cafe(2 reviews) - On en redemande ! Spent More than 3 hours Bars & Clubs
See more..

3.5L'Arche(2 reviews) - This ark has trees Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks A mural we saw was L'Arche at the corner of rue Maes and chaussée d’Ixelles, 1050 Brussels by François Schuiten and Alexandre Obolensky. This mural illustrates a sustainable city of tomorrow. The Ark invites us on a journey through the streets and alleys of Ixelles/Elsene. The mural is done in Schuiten’s style: gigantic and familiar. When it was completed, the artists created a soundtrack that can be downloaded by passers-by. Allow ~ 15 + min for your visit.See more..
See more..
