Great architecture and old style pool
Already good reason to go and see the large only 2 point suspended roof! They do their most friendly best but remain old school with many rules. Popular all week with many swimmers. Pity there's no fast lane. Slow and fast make it uncomfortable for all in a single lane. Not real much fun for small children. I still come back.

A good swim at a reasonable price
An indoor swimming pool, open all the year round. Recently refurbished (2011-2012, I guess). Clean, well maintained, well staffed with life-guards. The building encloses two pools, one a proper 33m pool with 8-10 lanes, the other a large square pool about 1 m deep for children or the handicapped. The water is heated, but not uncomfortably so. Price is €4/person/visit (under 18 y.o. or pensioners €3, under 3 years, free). Open 7 days a week except on some national holidays, 7.30am till at least 7pm except on Sundays when it closes at 2pm. Pleasant, helpful staff, some of whom speak good English. During school term time, weekdays, the pool is quite busy, but weekends and out of school time although the pool is popular it isn't over-crowded. Share a lane with 3 to 5 others and get in a really good swim! Dress requirement is lycra swimming costume and a bathing cap.
