4.5Jægerborg Dyrehave(347 reviews) - Lovely walking and so many deer Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks
We saw hundreds of deer, spread out over the fields in large herds. Various types of deer are kept on these former royal hunting grounds. Entrance is free -- just walk in and enjoy the lovely landscape and the many deer. Horse-drawn carriages are available for hire if you don't want to walk. Excellent walking through fields and woods. The king's former hunting lodge is in the center of the property, but it was not open for visitors when we were there. There is a rudimentary bathroom and water fountain on the property.See more..

A lovely stroll along the picturesque seafront took us by the extensive marinas with crafts of various sizes and glamour. Including fine and impressively reconstructed Viking ships. A highlight was a visit to the superb Viking Museum with its fascinating accounts of Viking history and both recovered and reconstructed ships from the time. Afterwards we savoured a fine lunch at Cafe Knarr.See more..
