Hans Christian Andersen is buried here, as well as Niels Bohr and Soren Kirkegaard. There are signs directing you to the graves of famous people. Go for a different nature walks, a botanical triptaround the world where you can experience a selection of different types of wood and plants from countries around the World. The cemetery now contains both a park area, a museum section and a functioning cemetery. Copenhageners use it as a park, people come here for walking, jogging, picnicking, and in warm weather you can even sunbathe.
