A lovely stroll along the picturesque seafront took us by the extensive marinas with crafts of various sizes and glamour. Including fine and impressively reconstructed Viking ships. A highlight was a visit to the superb Viking Museum with its fascinating accounts of Viking history and both recovered and reconstructed ships from the time. Afterwards we savoured a fine lunch at Cafe Knarr.See more..
I went to the Lighthouse which is 30 minutes walk from the Church on the Cliff . Great history. I was by myself and so much beauty that my time there was like going back to those years when the church was open. Highly recommended. If you don’t like walking take a yell ibis on the Store Heddinge train station and walk back . It will be more than 5 km but worth it.See more..
