It was great to see this tremendous dynamic sculptural creation, based on Norse legends of the formation of Zealand. It portrays the Goddess Gefjon driving a group of headstrong oxen that are pulling a plough. It was gifted to the city by the Carlsberg Co on the occasion of their 50th anniversary celebrations in the late 1800s. Work then began on the art piece by the Danish artist Anders Bundgaard.
