Wanted to try the Guild and finally got there late on a Saturday night. Loved the feel of the place. They had indoor corn hole and there were a lot of people there. We found a spot at the bar and had a couple of beers before the 11 close time. Bruce, our server, was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. After a couple of questions and tasters, I settled on the Handline Kolsch. Crisp, flavorful, and cold. Great tasting beer and I ended up having two of them. My son and the white IPA which he enjoyed. We stopped by this microbrewery today and sampled eight of their beers between us. Great variety of styles, and all were good or better. We tried several of the generous flights, sampling 8 current brews. The English Dark Mild and Scottish Wee Bevvy were surprisingly good, with rich flavors reminiscent of English pubs. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the Blackberry Hard Seltzer, so much so we brought some home to share with friends. We hope eventually Lops will be sold in pubs snd package stores, but in the meantime it's worth a trip to Woonsocket. See more..

Be advised: this place is in about the absolute most run down spot imaginable. It's in a former industrial area and the Waze directions are a little confusing. It can also feel a little unsafe walking around but that adds to the charm. They have outdoor and indoor seating and some great beers. It was a really fun visit.See more..

It’s a cozy and cute tasting room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A tasting is 10.00 for 4 four ounce pours. I really enjoyed the Torpedo and Salty dog. 15% off everything for military. A 4 pack was around 13.00 and glasses are 12.00. Enjoyed the stop and the experience.See more..

Think of the 1700 and 1800s when cider came locally from a wooden press: that’s Sowams. It’s a cool little tasting room and the farm/orchard is only 5 miles away. The flavors are subtle but good apple notes. This is just pure cider, almost like a wine. The prices are close to that of wine but very good for a New England Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Try the apples straight as well. He has so many local varieties you have probably never heard of. Come in, try some very unique cider, and get an education.See more..
