Architectural gem - home of museums ,... and culture in general

A building built in the early 1900's today home to several museums - pity like every museum its closed on Monday's ... so I couldn't visit the museums, maybe next time when I'm in Iasi. The building is majestic - form the outside you can see a lot architectural features, statues, decorations on the façade. When you are in Iasi , a definite must see, even if only from the outside but it is worth it.

    Absolutely beautiful!
A must see when visiting Iași, this palace is the most beautiful I've visited in Romania. For 40 lei you can visit all the 4 museums housed here, it will take you around 3h, maybe more if you are not in a rush. The clock tower is closed for now, due to covid regulations. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful pieces to see here, don't miss the 'Henri Coanda' hall and 'Sala Voievozilor'.

    A gem of Moldova!
Amazing place! The history is huge here, I loved the fact that there was a lot of stuff to see and acknowledge. To be honest, it was quite disappointing because I was expecting more decorations on the inside (because it's quite simplistic at the moment). But it's a true gem for those from Moldova and should be treated as such for it's a very interesting spot! A must visit if you ever visit Iași!
