Before walking up the stairs, have a look at the beautiful staircase inside the tower. The view from up the tower is very beautiful and definitely worth the climb. The shop nearby sells all kinds of souvenirs, but you can buy very tasty pastries and food + drinks as well. For the kids there's a playground next to the shop as well.See more..

The lighthouse is well cared for by people who love to do it. DKK 20 is a cheap entry fee and you can walk up the tower by yourself. The view of the top is fantastic and the stones at display in a room on ground level very interesting.See more..

I was lucky the weather was sunny and the view was clear from the top. 208 steps to reach the top of the lighthouse where you have a 360 degrees over all the surrounding, you can see the beach from the both sides. Having some problems in the payment, the young girl working there was very helpful.See more..

The beautiful white lighthouse was built in 1858, and is an obvious excursion destination. From the lighthouse there is a wide view over the Samsø Belt towards Funen, Zealand and Jutland. The lighthouse is located in the middle of an old rampart, and at the entrance to the lighthouse, Samsø Museum tells about Samsø's medieval castles in the old gunpowder house. Opening hours: In 2022 it is open every day at 11-18 from 10 April to 23 October in Krudthus and Fyrtårn. Entrance (to the lighthouse): Adults NOK 20. Children (under 16 years) DKK 10.
