Vesborg Fyr, Jutland, Denmark
4.0 (104 reviews) Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent Ranking #4 in Samsoe Lighthouses
Nice visit, but nothing really to see/do...
The beautiful white lighthouse was built in 1858, and is an obvious excursion destination. From the lighthouse there is a wide view over the Samsø Belt towards Funen, Zealand and Jutland. The lighthouse is located in the middle of an old rampart, and at the entrance to the lighthouse, Samsø Museum tells about Samsø's medieval castles in the old gunpowder house. Opening hours: In 2022 it is open every day at 11-18 from 10 April to 23 October in Krudthus and Fyrtårn. Entrance (to the lighthouse): Adults NOK 20. Children (under 16 years) DKK 10. Info: Traffic in the lighthouse and the area in general is at your own risk. Traffic is not allowed until kl. 11 and after kl. 18.

Samsø Lighthouse
I really like light houses so I'm pretty much always up for a visit in one to get the beautiful views from the top. I think of course they can be quite expensive to visit and I do have a limit for sure of what I would pay but this wasn't super crazy it's 15kr per person but I would say that's worth it and honestly it's not like you are really forced to pay it you just drop cash in a box or use mobile pay.

Stunning views
Go on a summersday and you can see most of the Island, and on to Fyn, Jutland and even Sjælland. The 20kr is well spent, and definitely worth the drive.
