This was a military fort but now turned into a beautiful park with historic information posted everywhere.

    Excellent Park With Restaurants and Coffee
    This is by far the best place to have a fantastic view of La Coruña. Most people have a coffee and pastry, but there is also really good food available. There is a funicular cablecar which will take you to the site from street level below at ocean level. You can also arrive by taxi and there is a bus with a stop within a short walking distance. One of my favorite places to have a coffee with a great view in La Coruña.

    Enjoyable walk, great views
    This is a lovely walk which, on a clear say, gives fantastic views of Coruña. The walk uphill only takes approx 20 minutes. 45 minutes if you walk from Pontevedra. We packed a lovely picnic to enjoy up there which I'd recommend, but there appears to be a nice restaurant there too. Would love to try this walk out at sunset!
