The Proysen Cottage and Cotter's Farm was Proysen's childhood home. The Proysen Cottage dates back to the 1860s, and has been restored in recent years. Cowshed and barn have been rebuilt in their original style, and appear today as they did when Alf Proysen was born on July 23rd 1914. See more..

We visited Buggegården a few weeks ago. What a nice place for children and adults. Really good and friendly service. The kids enjoyed contact with the animals at the farm. You can ride a horse, cuddle rabbits, see the pigs, cheep, duck, hens and so on. Plenty toys to play with and nice homemade pastry. The really nice garden with plenty chairs and tables for the adults to chill out while the kids are busy exploring the grounds. They even have a small theatre play for the kids. Highly recommended!
