    Cool Aquarium
Great visit to an awesome aquarium. All of the big mammals where very active and appear to be in good health. The have a pod of orcas kinda rare for an aquarium. The dolphins and belugas where good to see as well. Very good price and cheap parking at the seaside park. Highly recommend.

    Enjoyable visit indeed!
This was our route from NAGOYA Station : total 25 mins) From Nagoya station, Go to the subway for yellow Higashiyama line. Buy a 1 day subway ticket Y740 from the manaca ticket machine. Select English. Head for the platform going towards Fujigaoka. Board the train and get off at SAKAE (two stops). Head for C stairs Meijo line in the direction of Kayanama & Nagoyaoka. Note that The Meijo line is a circle line so make sure you take the shorter anticlockwise to Kanayama which is only 4 stations away. Alight at Kanayama station, go to platform 2. Board the train to Nagoyaoka/Nagoya Port which is the last station. RETURN: From Nagoyaoka, take the train straight to Sakae station. Alight at Sakae and change to Yellow Higashiyama line heading for Takabata. Alight at Nagoya station. Show the 1 day subway ticket for a ¥200 discount at the Aquarium. Entrance Payment is CASH ONLY. At the Aquarium: Spent an enjoyable least 3.5 hrs. Head for NORTH building which houses the Orca whales, Dolphins and Belugas. Enjoyed the Beluga training feeding show on the 3F. The South building houses the tornado of sardines and smaller Creatures & penguins. Some parts were under construction so we didn't spend as much time in this building compared to the North one. Definitely worth visiting.
