Fun and Tasty
Location - 10 min walk from Kanazawa station We visited Wed lunch time and bought some sushi and sashimi to bring back to the hotel to eat. Some stalls have eating areas. There is also an eating hall with tables. There are a few restaurants with lineups, so be sure to arrive before noon. It’s a fun and interesting place to grab lunch. As this is a market, it closes early and only available from morning to lunch time

Very commercialized fish market
Don’t expect this market to be real fish market something like Tokyo Tsukiji or Toyosu market. It is much smaller and tourists friendly market. All shops are covered by roof and has wider corridors. You can taste one bite of different kind of seafood for approx. ¥500-1,000 as well as freshly deep fried beef / shrimp potato cakes for approx ¥200-300. It only take 30-60 min to talk around. 思っていたより小規模なマーケットでした。金沢に到着したのが午前9時頃で、その後ホテルに荷物を置いて直行した為10時前には場内にいたと思いますが平日だった為か空いていたのでゆっくり回れました。東京の人間なので市場といえば築地や豊洲ですが、気軽に食べ歩きできるので観光客に親切だと思います。
