Still need to book online

Still the same excellent dinosaur museum. They seem to change some exhibits slightly every now and then, as I always notice something new whenever I visit again. You need to book online to visit, either in the morning or afternoon. It can be still be crowded inside, depending on the time slot and day. Masks are required to enter the museum, and there is disinfectant located at various places. There is currently a special exhibit about dinosaur footprints, which was interesting. I suggest checking their website to find out what special exhibits they might have at the time when you visit.

    Book online to visit
Still the same excellent Dinosaur Museum. There is currently a special exhibit about Fukui's dinosaurs, at no extra charge. You now need to book entry online before going to the museum. Entry times are divided between the morning and afternoon, and the number of visitors limited. Masks must be worn when inside. If you don't have a mask, they will give you a disposable mask for a small donation. Inside, there is no problem finding antibacterial spray, as it has been placed all around the museum. There are signs to keep social distancing, and most hands-on exhibits are either off limits or have a notice stuck on them to say not to touch. The exception I saw was buttons to light up some stones/crystals. The children's educational area is closed.

    Always worth revisiting
Revisited after about 6 months since the last time. Have been here many times but always seem to find something I’ve missed before or something new added, and enjoy seeing the same exhibits again. Also, the special exhibition changes every few months. Well worth revisiting if you haven’t been for a while.
