Sepulcre megalític de Ca Na Costa is the most important megalithic structure in Formentera. It is located close to the Estany Pudent and near the little town called Es Pujols. You can see all structure, but only you can surround it, because it is closed by a fence. If you like very much this type of old constructions, it is so interesting and you can see beautiful views of the Estany Pudent (Smelly Lake, in English, but you can be calm, it is not smelly!), but if you do not like these type of old constructions, it is only stones on the roof. The most bizarre visit I have ever made to a Roman Ruin. There was a locked permitted metal fence with bars knocked through allowing brave tourists to slip through the security! Free parking. No visitors centre. I don’t who holds the keys for the totally useless and penetrated fence but the Romans would have howled at them. I can’t for obvious historic reasons agree that the fort was never used. It simply appeared from the archeology that it was a building easily packed away and was probably used as a seasonal installation during Roman rule. See more..

Es uno de los yacimientos que podemos encontrar muy cerca de la playa principal de arena. Tiene una placa que explica para qué se utilizaba. Una curiosidad más de Cabrera. Acceso libre. See more..
