Beautiful beach, a must do in Formentera. Looks like caribic due to its very long fine white sand and crystal blue waters. They are just very cold. No hotels or restaurants nearby, you should take something with you. The beach is far from the harbour where the ferry arrives so you will have to take a bus (yellow or blue line) and from there still walk around 25 minutes. So it is challenging but worth it. I wish there were better bus connections to encourage people to use public transport and avoid traffic jams! It is so sad that the government does not invest on it! Here is my tip to them!!See more..
4.0Platja d'es Trenc(5.441 reviews) - A lovely beach if you get there early Beaches
This long stretch of white sandy beach on the southern coast of Majorca is touted as one of the island's best beaches. What's great about Platja d'es Trenc is that it's located in a protected area, which means that no tall buildings will spoil your view. It's recommended to bring your own mats and pack your own food since facilities are limited here. Although there are no water sports activities for rent, the beach's turquoise waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Nudists can also enjoy designated areas along the beach. The easiest way to get here is to take a daytour from Palma. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Cala Comte(4.813 reviews) - Crowded, but beautiful Beaches
Cala Comte was a beautiful beach, but it was very crowded. We took a cab there from Old Town Ibiza, and it was about 30-35 minutes and about 40 Euro. We went on a Saturday around 5, got a spot on the VERY crowded beach, and eventually was able to move up and get front row on the sand for the beach. Once the sun completely sets, everyone claps....just gives you chills just thinking about it? eh? :) Explore around here...theres a few different beaches (even a nudist beach with the CUTEST bar built into the side of the wall). Be mindful that you'll have to bring a cab number with you if you plan on taking a cab from Cala Comte. We were able to call one and it came shortly, but we did have a small moment of panic thinking we would be stuck there as it was getting pretty dark. Also, just be mindful that at times, in certain areas, the water can be rough. Overall, I'd go again. The sunset was beautiful, and we BYO rose, cups, and snacks for the "event".See more..
4.5Playa de Muro Beach(4.546 reviews) - Beautiful- be careful of current though Beaches
This 3.7-mile-long beach has calm and shallow waters (great for kids to swim in) and plenty of water sports available like parasailing and jet skiing. The beach is divided into four sections and is packed with cafés, bars, and designated play areas. One section is an unofficial "nude beach", and another has sand dunes to explore. You can get sunbeds, umbrellas, and personal lockers for a fee, and there are also free-to-use showers. It's also one of the safest beaches in the world, with more than enough lifeguards on duty and a thorough rescue system in place. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Playa de Alcudia(4.484 reviews) - Soft sand and clear shallow waters Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
Nice beach soft sand and shallow waters. The sae is always calm no big waves and no strong current so it is good for families :) The beds are €6.50 to rent between 10am and 6pm which is worth it. Went out of season so it wasn’t too crowded :) would recommend !See more..
4.0Cala Bassa(4.082 reviews) - Just perfect Beaches
Arrived early easy to park free drink with parking approx 5euros from memory. Easy walk to beach set up in front of beach club that lines the whole beach which is long. Lots of boats and nice view over to Cala gracio area . Lots selling beach throws etc they are good quality and price and it doesn’t bother me on other beaches but found there was so many on this one we were constantly being asked and they were quite persistent compared to other beaches. The beach club is just out of this world. It was a boiling hot Mid July Saturday and we found a comfortable white sofa to lounge out on and great service ordering cocktails and drinks. Good music from the DJ. Such a cool place no doubt lots of money from people that come here but don’t be put off, the cost of a drink was no more than a club or other decent bar/ restaurant and we could have stayed there soaking up the atmosphere and relaxing for days!!! A mustSee more..
4.5Cala Turqueta(3.835 reviews) - Small island with plenty of lovely beaches Beaches
We went at the end of season so it was really quiet which was what we needed at the time. A lot of the bars and restaurants were closed and as we were leaving on the 31st October the whole island was basically shutting down. As the island is small it makes sense to hire a car and tour around as there is plenty to see and do. See more..
4.5Playa de Son Bou(3.012 reviews) - The best Playa in Menorca. Beaches
At the end, after many years we can say "Son Bou is the best beach in Menorca! ". There is space and opportunities for everyone, families with children, teens, couples, groups of friends ... and naked nudist. Son Bou it's big, long, beautiful and the water sometime, when sea is quiet it's like a Cristal. It's very easy to understand the different areas it's dedicated to different customers but there is always space for to enjoy. For me Son Bou have some possibilities for to improve a bit, and my suggestion it's for the municipal administration of Alajor. 1) Improve the grounds of the Big Dirt Parking lot because you could be environmentally friendly without kicking up all that dust and putting a city employee or two in to regulate the parking. 2) Increase Showers. 3) Add no less than 2 managed public toilets. 4) Put is back the little train pre covid and (but this is very ambitious) 5) Reduce or remove the 2 big hotel towers. but it's absolutely a must of Menorca. 4.5Cala Mitjana(2.724 reviews) - Best visited out of season Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
Very attractive but like similar popular beaches in Menorca it quickly becomes crowded. Shame really, it is probably best enjoyed on the low season. We arrived pretty early, the water was clear (no film) and there was just one boat moored up, but there was a slight sulphuric smell near the waters edge. There were a fair number of people snorkeling - but I doubt that there was a great deal to see as any fish would have been scared off by the hoards of people. We left just before lunch. See more..
4.5Cala Macarelleta(2.105 reviews) - Stunning definitely worth a visit Beaches
This is a really stunning beach and well worth a visit, and the extra 10 minute walk from Cala Macarella. On the day we visited, the road and parking were closed and you could only get there by bus. We caught the 69 bus from Ciutadella which was stress free and probably the best way to get there given how narrow the road to the beach is.See more..
Beautiful turquoise sea (after it cleared up from a storm). It was pretty warm. There are quite a lot of rocks in the sea, but they are not sharp and you can see where areas are clear of rocks as there will be more people in the sea. It was exceptionally clean and not too many looky lookys interupting you. 2 sunbeds and a parasol (with secure safe) was 14 euros for the day (and you could come and go)See more..
As per the title a lovely beach in a lovely area with stunning views. We visited in September 2022 and although it was still quite busy there was just a relaxing hum / vibe (NO loud music blasting from any of the bars or cafe's). There are also some excellent restaurants to visit. We will return!See more..
4.5Cala Agulla(1.758 reviews) - Crystal-clear water & almost white sand Beaches
Cala Agulla is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water and almost white sand. In the background, there are pine trees spreading shadow and their wonderful smell. Around noon, the beach is likely to become very crowded, which however is not surprising considering its beauty. To anyone who likes walking I highly recommend taking the tour through the woods to Cala Mesquida. You will come along a smaller beach, have a fantastic view on Mesquida and maybe even come across some animals within the nature reserve.See more..

4.0Cala Saona(1.474 reviews) - hotels in Forementera Beaches

4.0Cala Galdana Beach(1.437 reviews) - Stunning but very crowded Beaches
Absolutely beautiful beach with lovely clean sand, and clear shallow water with little fish swimming about. Toilet facilities and food/drink nearby. There is a small promenade with benches to sit on. There were sunloungers in pairs with parasols to hire which I think said 20Euro for the day. What was off-putting for me was SO many people, so many cars around the resort trying to park. Lots of boats going in and out of the water, plus kayaks and pedal boats. Therefore definitely a nice beach with great scenery but everyone man and his dog knows about it. Ended up spending more time at the hotel pool area. Did go in the height of summer, so maybe better at a cooler time of year.See more..
4.5Cala Pregonda(1.319 reviews) - Must see and experience this beach. Watch out for the wind direction before going. Beaches
Specially beautiful. We got there from the other side as the road the beach specific parking lot was closed. So we walked about one hour over two small hills and crossed two beaches. The whole way is magic with this reddish sand beach and hills, stones. Impressive beauty. Unforgettable. Never experienced a beach like this. The combination of cristal clear sea water and the small stone island in front of the beach were just another planet scenery. Great for snorkeling and easy swim till the stone island in front of it.See more..
4.0Sa Calobra(1.307 reviews) - The drive is better than the destination Beaches
Tucked within the Serra Tramontana mountain range, the winding road to Sa Calobra features intimidating hairpin turns, popular with adventurous cyclists. Stop frequently to take in the stunning views, or board a boat from Port de Soller if you’re not up for a challenging drive. Crowds descend on this Unesco World Heritage site, so get in early to enjoy a swim at the tiny pebbled beach. Tuck into delicious seafood at one of the restaurants overlooking the harbor, or bring lunch with you if you’re on a budget, as prices can be steep at this remote location. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Cala Algaierens(1.040 reviews) - Two great beaches Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
Decided to try this beach as it was recommended due to the wind being from the south when we visited which meant that the beaches to the north of the island would be free from seaweed. The second beach from the car park was best, while not as long as the first beach it is a lot deeper, which meant that overall it had a lot more space and was a lot quieter. To reach the first beach you just follow the very good footpath from the car park, if you then go to the far end of the beach there is a path through the woods to the second beach. At the second beach the water was crystal clear and very shallow, not even waist deep after a couple of hundred meters. The second beach is clothing optional, and when we where there about half the people where naked, most couples or families. You will need to take everything with you as there are no facilities at either of the beaches.See more..

4.5Calo Des Moro(949 reviews) - Extremely beautiful and picture friendly Beaches
This tiny stretch of coast along Mallorca’s southern shoreline attracts travelers with its turquoise waters and scenic surroundings. Here, you can snorkel with multicolored fish, spend the day lounging on the white sand, trek the surrounding cliffs around Calo Des Moro or even take a boat tour to discover the other stunning beaches and sights in the area. The beach can get quite busy, especially during summer, so try to get there early if you want to get a good spot. To get there, you'll need to hike a rocky path from the parking lot. Amenities are limited as well, so remember to pack all the food and supplies you need. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Cala Benirrás(933 reviews) - Chilled out evening on the beach watching sundown Beaches
Came for the sundown drumming on a Sunday evening however for some reason the drummers didn’t turn up which was slightly disappointing. That said we had a lovely couple of hours chilling on the beach with a few drinks and watching the world go by. There are a couple of beach restaurants (fairly long queue to get a cocktail from the bar) and nice public toilets. The music from the restaurants can be heard from the beach for nice background tunes. Also was a small hippy market as well to browse. Everyone came to the water’s edge to watch the sunset and then clapped when it went below the horizon! I recommend parking at Sa Plana and taking the bus into Cala Benirras as there aren’t many parking spaces in the cove area itself.See more..
4.5Cala Saladeta(924 reviews) - One of my favourite beaches on the island! Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
This is definitely one of my top 3 beaches in Ibiza. It's worth the steep 5/10 minute climb from Cala Salada in order to see the breath-taking views and the colour of the water is just unbelievable. In previous years my only criticism would be that it's always super packed, but visiting in July 2020 was a pleasure! It's easily accessible by San Antonio on the bus, and doesn't take half as long as what it does to get to other popular beaches such as Cala Bassa or Cala Comte (I think it's about 15 minutes only!)See more..
4.5Cala Gran(882 reviews) - Rent the paddle boat with slide Beaches
We were nervous when we arrived. All of the spots near the water, plus all of the umbrellas, were taken (we arrived around 11:00AM). We set up behind the umbrellas, but once we got in the water, it didn't feel too crowded. Great spots along the left side to jump into the water (anywhere from 3-6 feet). We rented a paddle boat that had a slide for an hour for only $14 (which was one of the highlights of the entire trip).See more..
4.0Playa de Es Canar(848 reviews) - Beautiful beach, lots of restaurants. Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
The beach is located in Saint eulaliaIt surrounded by restaurants and beach bars and also near the Es Canar Ferry location. The beach is sand and is kept quite clean. Parts of the beach though did have a lot of seaweed. We were here in July and we did find it cold to swim in. The beach is lined with beach chairs which you can rent. In my opinion they are quite expensive. I believe we rented ours for 18€ each with the umbrella. Overall this is a nice beach and nice location. We also recommend walking further along the beach around the cove and enjoying the seaside walk.See more..
Lovely quiet beach, long stretch of sand and stunning water. We took a taxi from the port which cost about €17 each way. Lounger and umbrella were €10 each to hire. Only one restaurant there and it appeared to be permanently closed so plan accordingly and bring your own water and snacks as there’s nothing else close by. Seemed to be popular with some nudists so be wary if that’s not your thing!See more..
4.0Playa Cala Llonga(776 reviews) - One of the best beaches we visited on Ibiza, great for families. Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
Stayed in apartment for 1 week, beautiful bay with plenty of restaurants, small supermarkets and beach shops. Sandy beach with plenty of room to sit and play. Loungers and umbrellas quite expensive 21 euros/day for 2 chairs and umbrella. Fitness equipment and children's play area. Pedal boats available to hire and roped off areas for swimming. Some rocks around the bay to snorkel and jelly fish that can sting. Can be loud at night with music etc. but ended by midnight most of the time (Covid times so may be different in 'normal' times). Would return again.See more..
4.5Cala Mesquida Beach(734 reviews) - Beautiful beach surrounded by worthwhile nature Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
Having come to Cala Mesquida by taking the walk from Cala Agulla - which I highly recommend to anyone who likes walking -, I enjoyed a wonderful view on the beach. Cala Mesquida captivates with its clear-blue water and light sand, however there can be high waves sometimes. In the background of the beach, there are dunes and a bridge to walk on. I was lucky enough to see two goats. Don't miss the nature around if you come here!See more..
4.0Playa es Pujols(710 reviews) - One of the best beaches Beaches
One of the most beautiful beaches I ever been. White sands and very clear water. "Chiringuitos" near the area to buy drinks. Lounges and umbrellas for rent and a beach almost perfect. This is only one. Formentera have many quality beaches that are in the top 10 of world's best beaches. See more..

4.5Playa de S'Amarador(643 reviews) - One of the best beaches on the Island. Beaches
For me one of the best beaches on the island. Beautiful and clean water, sandy beach, surrounded with forest and stones (cliffs with a good view of water and beach). Good connection with a path on cliffs between this beach and Cala Mondrago where somewhere on the middle path have a viewpoint on the sea. There is parking about 10mins walking from the beach and it is a 6 euros. There were remote toilets and a local bar. Sun beds and umbrella are also available but for the price around of 15euros.See more..
4.0Cala Tarida(630 reviews) - Great wavy beach Beaches
Really liked the beach, amazing views from above, go on the rocky path to the right side to take some great pictures before going down the stairs to the beach. I enjoyed the beach very much, it had many waves so it was fun (usually the calas are small and have no waves and this is boring for me). So would be ideal to have a swimming ring to ride the waves. Regular bus connection to St Antonio.See more..
4.0Cala d'Hort(586 reviews) - Another great beach day Beaches
Get here early for pick of spaces on hill, we got there approx 10.30 on a Thursday and beach filled up quickly after that time. We hired loungers as the beach us pebbly/rocky with sand in between. We had an unobstructed view of Es vedra very close from our spot. Walked to nearby restaurant at other end and had a couple of drinks higher up overlooking beach which was nice. Sea bed is rocky so unless you don’t have sensitive feet you ideally need a pair of beach shoes that won’t come off in sea. We had a reservation at el carmen at 7.30 (which was behind our Loungers). So after full day of bathing headed up there. We asked for table beach side and got the best in the house overlooking es vedra at sunset. Meal was very nice all in all a great day!!See more..

4.5Cala Es Talaier(571 reviews) - Gorgeous! One of my favorites. Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
We got there before the sun ;) (10am in Oct) to ensure we get a great spot and a beach experience before it gets crowded. By noon it was busy but certainly not close to full at all. Watch the wind direction as when it blows from sea to land it also bring seaweeds and jelly fish with. So bathing was good and relaxing till we got burned and left heading the beaches in the other direction for this day. The beach is gorgeous. Walking there is really easy for flip flops and fairly quick. One of my favorites as I do like, prefer and search for “wild”/untouched beaches. Remember to bring your water and snacks to last longer there! It is a cost beach so more for couples and adults however we were there with 2 kids and enjoyed a lot!See more..
Really nice beach to spend your day. Very clear water and no rocks or big waves as this is located in a nice looking bay. Sun beds for €8 and a supermarket for drinks at the beach. Not crowded and no annoying sales man on the beach. Would definitely recommend to go to this beach if you don’t like to overcrowded and expensive beach clubs.See more..
Formentera has some stunning beaches but this little cove is amazing. From SAN Ferran head towards La Mola, turn right at TUI Maryland Resort, follow the road to the end and park up. Turn left on the beach and take the elevated footpath past the hotel towards the rocks. Keep going (10 mins tops) and you will come across this amazing small beach, be early or your sitting on the rocks ADULTS ONLY!! due to the steep climb to the bottom and the walk to get there which goes very close to some steep drops sometimes I would suggest this isn’t a place for kids, also their really is no space for them to play. The snorkelling is amazing, so many fish. If you are visiting Formentera and like sunbathing and snorkelling then this is 100% a must... love love loveSee more..
4.0Cala Xarraca(508 reviews) - Great beach but no bus Beaches
Beautiful beach, loved it so much. Unfortunately there was no bus so we took a taxi (public transport is really bad in Ibiza). We had seen that there was a swing on Instagram but it has been removed, sadly. Still there were beautiful photo spots, a quite impressive orange house, beautiful water color and water was not so cold because the sand is quite dark (so it gets very warm too, take flip flops with you).See more..
Reached by a boardwalk next to the car park, this is an accessible wild beach at Sant Tomas on the south coast backed by rolling green landscape. The water was warm with a sand bottom. A mixed group of visitors, many of them nudists happily co-existing with ‘textiles’. The cafe at the beginning does sandwiches for the beach but there was long line at lunchtime for food and drink. No shade on the beach - take an umbrella.See more..

4.0Playa de Es Figueral(333 reviews) - Perfect little getaway for a young family. Beaches
Really happy with our stay, the hotel was spot on. Loved everything about the stay, we went in October had teen and was so lucky to have 5 days of sunshine (a couple were overcast). Only downside was there was a yoga retreat running and the battle for food especially the salad bar! Although the classes were entertaining to watch, I would I guess would have liked to know it was running at the same time as our holiday (apparently it’s every year first and last week of the season). Classes were loud and we had to move pools. But, regardless, the food was good, the pools were great, the beach is perfect for a young family. Loved it, and would definitely go back.See more..
4.0Sa Caleta(308 reviews) - Disappointment at a favorite place Beaches
Beautiful place, view and surroundings. The starters were excellent and the lemon sorbet the best on the island. The main dish, baked Gallo, was disappointing. Dry and the potatoes were mush. It was the end of the night in a busy August but the impression was that they didn’t want to make the effort. It appeared it was thrown together with an old piece of fish and reheated. The boss disappeared behind the bar and made little effort and left two servers, a man and a woman, on their own to cope. They were lovely along with a younger woman who served us coffee. The Cafe Caleta was lovely too and along with Sorbet finished the meal well. On this night they were not worth their premium prices. I will of course be back as I love the place. Hopefully for a better experience.See more..
