Walked up the hill from Santa Eulalia centre. About 100 steps in all, but not steep. The views were predictably superb, covering the inland hills, resort, sea and river. The unusual church and cemetery were worth a look (free entrance) , and the narrow streets and alleys weaving past people's whitewashed houses were very photogenic. The clean public toilets beneath the church were a bonus, but there aren't any shops so bring a water bottle when it's hot.See more..

Well worth a visit! Despite the climb up to the cathedral, the view is worth it ten times over, promise. We actually went twice because we didn’t realise the cathedral is closed on Monday’s. You can get a taxi pretty close to the top but it’s easily accessible by walkers too (it’s just EFFORT, especially in the heat!). But seriously, get it on your list!See more..
