   A 7 km bumpy dirt road will take you from the main road to this viewpoint. We first went up a late afternoon only to discover the views obscured by haze and smoke. Came back the next morning to see it in full splendour. Not only are the the views breathtaking, the whole site is extremely well maintained with beautiful plants and flowerbeds and information boards. So well worth the $3 entrance fee! See more..

   I think we can all agree that the skywalk & the skyline are probably the top two activities people want to do in Nyanga. The prices for the two is $90. However, individually the Skywalk costs $40 and the Skyline $70. It’s cost effective to do both of them or rather pick one. One important thing you need to know is the time factor when it comes to these activities. Far and Wide closes these activities at 16:00 but the last invoice is issued at 15:30.    The way up the mountain is a rough path over stony ground. You are not allowed to climb without a guide (US$25). I was fortunate to have Tendai as guide - he was full of encouragement.    Went with my husband and 8 and 10 yr old kids. Hiked from Mutekeswane Base Camp to Chimanimani Hut. What a wonderful challenge for us all and spectacular scenery. The road into Base Camp from town needed a 4x4. Hopefully they will fix the bridges soon making that road easier (the cyclone in March 2019 did incredible damage). Hut is basic - just a roof over your head and mattresses available. Extra water was available from a stream near the hut. Recommend this hike wholeheartedly. A highlight for the whole family.     Spending day and night in a houseboat in Lake Kariba was an enchanting experience. Had to take the entire family and just watching the sun set was mesmerizing. The trip was well arranged and the crew had the patience of waiting for us even though we arrived late.     Beautiful falls on the Nyangombe river. The falls are easily accessible, about 7 kilometres from the tarred road and 200m from the car park. You need comfortable shoes as the path from the car park is rocky and goes down a steep slope. It's a good idea to take a picnic basket with you so that you enjoy the beauty of the falls without having to rush back to the car park to get refreshments.     We have been playing golf at this club for nearly 20 years and have never seen the course in such a good condition. The course is challenging but great fun to play. There is a new caterer preparing meals and snacks and the meal we had we really enjoyed. The club is really friendly and has social events which are well attended by club members and people from Mutare. We always stay in Gordon's b&b which is just around the corner from the club.     I really enjoyed my stay there, the host was there for all our needs, activities are well planned out, great tour guide for the Mtarazi Skywalk, zip line, pungwe views and pungwe waterfalls.     Mazvita Holiday Home , I loved our staycation last year November, Mazvita is set on the edge of a cliff the views are to die for and not a long drive from Mutare , The rooms are very spacious and thumbs up to the housekeeper the rooms were very neat and clean .
