    - What a great day out!!!

Arrived at this beautiful game sanctuary, 90 minutes from Harare, to be greeted by very friendly staff and refreshments. We then went on an awesome game drive and saw a wide array of wildlife with a tour guide who was very educational and humorous at the same time. On our drive through the bush we fed Rhinos and elephants one of which was a huge male bull, with a very impressive move if you’re wearing a hat!!! All of which was followed by a delicious lunch and drinks in a great location. A must see for anyone visiting Zimbabwe. See more..

I have always loved this rock. It is as beautiful as ever. Unfortunately, the drive out there is now an experience with the crumbling and potholed road, loads of traffic, and many people. Unbelievable that some waste of space humans have graffitied under the rock paintings - said to range from 2,000 to 13,000 years old - but they are still amazing. A few flame lilies were in flower which was an added bonus. Zimbabwe is so beautiful! See more..

Absolutely amazing experience. Easy day trip from Harare. Trimor has created a lovely traditional homestead which he explains and then he shows you around the mountain where there are cave paintings of animals, slave trade, and more. Trimor is a wonderful guide full of knowledge. Truly an incredible experience. See more..

  6. 4.0 Gosho Park (6 reviews)
    - Little Miombo gem - a MUST for birders!
Spent More than 3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Dams
    Gosho Park image
We were on a birding trip to the Eastern Highlands and made this park our first stop from Harare. Visitors can safely drive or walk around in the park, but there is also an overnight hut to sleep in. Costs were $3 per person, and this seems well worth it! We saw many classic miombo specials in a three hour walk/drive around the park - Miombo Tit, Red-faced Crombec, Southern Hyliota, etc. There are also lots of game in the park, including sable antelope. Facilities are Spartan, but then you don't really require much on a birding trip! See more..
