Ant, Costas and the team were exceptional. Our trip had been delayed 2 years due to Covid, but finally got off the ground in July 2022. Ant had worked with us to plan a self-drive itinerary that included pick up of vehicles from Vic Falls followed by 3 nights in Hwange NP, overnight ferry down Lake Kariba and then a night in Kariba before 7 nights in Mana-Pools and Chitake Springs. Vehicles, itinerary and all bookings were perfectly planned and the team were always available if we encountered any issues. Having done a number of these trips elsewhere in Southern Africa, Manapools.com made Zimbabwe an easy and trouble free experience. If you’re thinking of a trip to Zim and want to get off the beaten track you couldn’t ask for a better company to work with. See more..

-The most amazing buffalo stampede ever
Hiking Trails
A pride of 30 lions ambushed a herd of 300 thirsty buffalo as they tried to run down the canyon walls to reach the muddy springs below. Seven buffalo died that day in 10 minutes. Its harsh, but this has always been the way of nature and life. See more..

Nature & Wildlife Areas
We had an amazing weekend here in August 2022 with a party of nine people. We stayed at Kopjie Tops Lodge and enjoyed comfortable, stylish affordable self-catering accommodation. The staff were exceptional and we were taken on a number of guided walks through forests, along rivers, to waterfalls and caves. Excellent break only 2 hours drive from Harare. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in a hiking or biking holiday. See more..

-Family fun day
Dams
Had a great day with family at Mazowe Dam Resort. The place is just 30km outside Harare along Mazowe Road. We used the VIP section which is less congested but costs double the entry charge. The place is very beautiful as the lawn is well manicured and the gazebos are neat and well maintained. We had braai and lots of fun swimming in the pool which has crystal clear water. Other activities include boat cruise to the dam wall and speed boating. Music is provided by host DJs. I recommend this place for a family outing. See more..
