The museum takes you back into the history books . Its in a good location with easy access in the city centre . For someone wanting to know the origin of the city and environs this is the place to be . It can be one of the stops that you can have before exploring the Vumba , Nyanga ,Chimanimani National Park that are outside Mutare .Am sure the kids will love it .

YESTER YEAR'S ANTIQUES.
Mutare is my favorite place in Zimbabwe. The mountains are breathe taking. Additional are the antiques of historical and artistic treasure which are a master piece.

A good place for first timers in Mutare
Are you a lover of history and vintage cars?Then visit no other than Mutare museum.This place can do with bit of upgrading. The bird population has dwindled and the snakes are now nothing but shells.The bee sactuary is still vibrant but this place can do more with a bit of upgrading.I have been to this museum for more than 7 times and l see the same things.The stones and the vintage cars and the train outside.Yes tha'ts history but but a lot has also happened.Considering that it is in Manicaland where the diamond rush was experienced ,the museum can at least dedicate a room to the Marange diamond stories.
