   We visited many places in Vietnam like Saigon, Hanoi, Halong bay and Kontum. Each destination has its own attraction. However, the trip in Kontum made us impressive because: local people are very friendly, local food is very delicious, the weather is really nice that we wish we could stay there for months. I certainly stay there for long time on my next trip to Kontum. Everything made our trip unforgettable. Thank you Mr Dung, our motorbike driver.    Tại Măng Đen, lần đầu tiên, tôi nhìn thấy một pho tượng Đức Mẹ với gương mặt không đẹp, và vẻ xấu xí thể hiện nổi bật nhất nơi hai bàn tay cụt. Đằng sau ấy là một câu chuyện ly kì... Trong những năm tháng chiến tranh khốc liệt, đặc biệt khi nằm 1974 đồn Măng Đen bị thu phục, tượng Đức Mẹ Măng Đen cũng bị hư hỏng và lãng quên suốt mấy chục năm dài trong rừng sâu. Hơn 10 năm sau thì nơi đây bắt đầu có dân cư sinh sống và một số người dân đã tìm thấy bức tượng nhưng tôn giáo khi đó chưa phổ biến người dân nơi đây chỉ phát hiện và không đá động gì đến bức tượng. Vài năm sau,họ phát hiện bức tượng đột nhiên bị mất đầu và đôi tay. Đến năm 2002, khi tuyến quốc lộ 24 được giao thông thì nhiều kỹ sư đã thấy thông tuyến qua vị trí bức tượng nên đã tự điều chỉnh để tránh xâm hại đến tượng Đức Mẹ. Nhiều người dân đã bỏ công để phục chế lại phần đầu và tay của tượng đức mẹ. Phần đầu được phục dựng và gắn lên tượng đức mẹ tuy nhiên không còn mang đúng với hình ảnh Đức Mẹ Fatima mà mang hình ảnh người phụ nữ Tây Nguyên nhiều hơn. Điều kì lạ rằng phần đôi tay của bức tượng được tạc lại và gắn lên thì bị rớt xuống, nhiều lần như thế nên người dân quyết định để bức tượng với hình ảnh không có tay. See more..

   Highlight of Kon Tum was our time with Mr Manh, who customized a tour for us that brought us to learn about the Jarai, Banar, Xo Dang, and Mo Nang ethnic communities in Kon Tum and Mang Den. He was really thoughtful about communication, meals, and transport, and even helped us with getting our bus back to Da Nang.    Une énième cascade, néanmoins le lieu est agréable et je recommanderais pour le repas.
   
   En effet, il est possible de manger sur place.
   
   Le meilleur étant leur poulet grillé cuit à la demande et farci d'herbes amères. Si vous êtes pressé, il faut commander avant de prendre des photos.
   
   Nous l'avons accompagné d'une salade spécialité locale et de riz gluant cuit dans du bambou.
   
   Nous avons aussi pris du porc grillé mais là j'ai été déçu.
   
   A noter, pour l'anecdote que le poulet est servi entier et sans couteau. Il faut donc le déchirer. Les gants sont fournis.
