I was not sure where the location of Bastards Bride was exactly so Mr. Duy was critical in helping us find where our beloved Uncle was KIA Oct. 14, 1967. Very informational guide who was around during the time of the war so has first hand accounts that he shares as well as old photos. Mr Hoa was our guide for the day, he was a star, full of knowledge and a very genuine guy saw some amazing sights and had a belting fried chicken lunch. My uncle was KIA in Vietnam in 1972, and I have been studying the tragic, horrible war for a lot of my life. My trip to Vietnam was like a personal pilgrimage, and I needed to find exactly the right guide. Tam was that guide. Tam is a friend I'll have for life! His historical knowledge of the conflict, of the sites, of the people is vast, and his English is excellent. We connected over us both having family serve in the war, and on different sides too. We did the half-day DMZ tour (which undersells it, it's close to a full day) and saw multiple sites including the Vinh Moc Tunnels and the Quang Tri Citadel, both of which left us stunned. He went out of his way to show us a site unique to the US Air Force, and again to take us to a lunch spot to try something unique per our request. My only regret is that we didn't have more time in Hue to do a second and a third of his tours. See more..

Visited this place depending on my friend's recommendation. Mai Xa village is very beautiful to take photos. This village is also famous for the speciality that called "bun hen". We would never forget the experience of motorbike tour (Xe Om tours) in Quang Tri. We did the countryside tour and suggested our driver to run as fast as possible. Nghe tên thôi đã thấy ngay đây là một nơi để leo trèo rồi. Nằm cách địa đạo Vịnh Mốc khoảng 5km, Mũi Trèo thuộc xã Vĩnh Kim, huyện Vĩnh Linh (cách bãi biển Cửa Tùng khoảng 3-4 km theo đường chim bay). Cách biệt với đường quốc lộ, muốn tới đây phải đi qua làng, có lẽ vì thế Mũi Trèo chưa được nhiều khách phương xa biết tới, mặc dù nó đang là điểm nóng để chụp ảnh cưới và cắm trại hoang dã của các bạn trẻ ở Quảng Trị. Không thể phóng ô tô vào tận nơi, muốn vào buộc phải đi bộ (hoặc đi xe máy) xuyên qua một khu rừng hỗn hợp (có lẽ trước đây nó là rừng ngập mặn) gồm cả đước, cây thân gỗ, đặc biệt nhiều dứa dại. Rất ấn tượng với sự nguyên sơ của Mũi Trèo, với một bên là rừng, một bên là biển, và biển thì đứng từ trên cao để nhìn xuống, muốn xuống tận biển là phải trèo xuống.

Các bạn nhỏ khi đi xuyên rừng để tới Mũi Trèo đã liên tưởng ngay đến vụ đi xuyên rừng trên đảo Kohrong Saloem (Cambodia) năm ngoái mặc dù rừng không rậm bằng rừng trên đảo nhưng phong cảnh cũng cực kì thú vị khi bướm vờn quanh những bước chân của các bạn dù không nhiều. Tiếng quạ kêu ngay giữa ban ngày càng làm tăng vẻ hoang sơ vắng vẻ ở nơi đây. Bãi Mũi Trèo đủ chỗ cho cả trăm cái lều cắm trại tập thể.

Đây đúng là một điểm để sống ảo dù để sống ảo cũng phải vất vả tìm góc để ảo và phải trèo leo tí mới ảo nổi chứ đừng mơ ảo ăn sẵn (he he, bật mí luôn cái chênh vênh của ảnh avatar). Đến đây muốn chơi lâu phải chuẩn bị đồ ăn mang theo, còn không, ảo xong có thể quay về Cửa Tùng để thưởng thức món cua đá trứ danh đảo Cồn Cỏ với giá 200k/kg ngon cực luôn See more..

We contacted them at 9pm for the next day trip without any hope as it's too late. But OMG they responsed our inquiries almost immediately! They picked up us at Phu Bai Airport in Hue and arrived at Dong Ha after about nearly two hrs driving. We just had enough time to visit Vinh Moc tunnel in the last minutes before we left Dong Ha for Ha Noi. I was on a tour with Vietnam vets. All of us were Marines and I remember going to Cua Viet beach as well as leaving Vietnam from there. I did not know you could drive there (in 1968-69 there were no roads) so we drove past the beach. I was impressed and recommend it. I remember the water being warm and the sand being hot.
