I turned off Harlaw Road and took the track down to the reservoir . The car park is 100 yards from the water and quite busy with walkers . The Reservoir has tracks round it also has a visitor centre which has been shut for a long time due to covid There is a wild life garden just before the centre . A very popular fishing venue run by Malleny Fisheries with a bailiffs hut all permits have to be purchased on line and are not available from the Bailiff. A nice shoreline for fly fishing and I saw an angler catch one on his second cast . The paths run round the water and also give you access to the surrounding hills . Very picturesque. See more..
  2. 5.0 Thriepstone Reservoir (2 reviews)
