- 5.0 Treasure Trails (1 review)
-Merchant City Superb Spy Tour
Walking Tours
We decided to do this treasure trail as part of my friend's birthday. We all loved it. It was a great way to see a city we are all familiar with in a different way. The trail was fun, informative and challenging. We completed it in just over 2 hours and covered about 8 kilometers of the city. We even got the code correct so fingers crossed we win the £100 prize draw. We have already decided we are going to try a murder mystery trail next. Well worth the £7 we paid. I would highly recommend as a great way to spend the day for all ages. See more..

- 4.5 Whitelee Visitor Centre (143 reviews)
-Worth a visit
Monday: Visitor Centers
We visited recently for the first time, it's a small but informative exhibition with a few fun interactive displays. The staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the cafe but the menu looked reasonably good and there's plenty of seats, we might try it next time. It definitely worth a visit here as there are plenty of walks and bike trails around the windfarm. See more..
- 4.5 Whitelee Windfarm (94 reviews)
-Great way to teach young ones about renewables and get up close to operating turbines
Monday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks
Visited today with my two sons and took the tour bus around part of the windfarm. We all thoroughly enjoyed it due to how informative Stuart the bus driver/tour guide was who also couldn't be more helpful if he tried. Staff in visitor centre also friendly. See more..
- 4.5 Rouken Glen Park (84 reviews)
-We only serve Rook in the Glen
Spent More than 3 hours Parks
A very brisk walk before rain stopped play in one of Glasgow's lesser Known Parks. The main attraction is the huge pond which is nice to walk around viewing its many reflections. In better times there is the boathouse cafe sadly reduced today to take away trade only. A short distance away is an interesting tumbling waterfall, close to a very picturesque rocky, wooded area. Today a bit wet and muddy but in spring a complete joy. Serviced from the city centre by the 38 bus Rouken Glen Park is definitely worth a visit. See more..
- 4.5 The Killoch Bar (21 reviews)
-Food Heaven
Bars & Clubs
Had such a lovely afternoon in the newly opened restaurant. A party of 4, we had a mixture of tapas and main courses. Everyone loved the food (especially the meatballs from the tapas menu, & the farmers boy burger). All the dishes are generous portions, so great value for money. My dad was also very impressed with the selection of drinks. The customer service was exceptional, such friendly, happy & helpful vibes. We'll 100% be back. Good luck with the new venture! See more..
- 4.5 Eastwood Park Theatre (17 reviews)
-Sunshine on Leith, Eastwood Theatre

Attended Sunshine on Leith last night by the Minerva Club in this brilliant local theatre. The venue was fantastic and the show was better than first class. How hard the players, production staff and theatre staff have worked. Amazing! Thank you to all! See more..

-It's well worth being a social member

- 4.0 Barrhead War Memorial (1 review)
-Monument is beautifully maintained in Cowan Park
Monuments & Statues
This monument is a memorial to the men of Barrhead who died fighting in the two great wars as well as the Northern Ireland conflicts. The monument is a granite Celtic style cross sitting on a square plinth and base with three steps. There’s also a granite memorial wall behind the cross. The names of the deceased are inscribed on the plinth and wall. The monument is beautifully maintained in Cowan Park. See more..
- 4.0 Neilston War Memorial (1 review)
-Well tended memorial
Monuments & Statues
This monument stands in tribute to the men of Neilston who died fighting the two world wars. The great majority of the names listed on the roll of honour died in the Great war. The monument consists of a memorial wall. A plaque in the centre is engraved with a cross of an unusual design. On either side of the central plaque are four plaques, each engraved with a roll of honour. There’s a total of over 160 names, a devastating number for Neilston when it only had a population of 3000. - 3.5 Rouken Glen Garden Centre (168 reviews)
-Garden Centre
Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM Parks
A nice place to get some gardening stuff while inside Rouken Glen Park. There's a cafe inside which is decent. As for the gardening centre, it has some pretty good stuff, plus lots of stuff like books, celebration cards and miscellaneous household items. It's nearly 3 months to go till Christmas and already the trees are available to buy. See more..
- 3.5 The Avenue Shopping Centre (23 reviews)
-Decent local shopping center
Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Shopping Malls
Cracking local shopping centre. One tip though, don’t walk in M&S entrance if you’ve just done your hair though as the overdoor air curtain blows it to f**k man. Brutal! Cafe outside M&S does a decent scran. Careful at Asda though. The security guard there is a weapon. See more..
