We went from Kayseri city center to there. It takes about 2 hours 30 mins, 200 kms. The road was mostly good but there were some road works and we lost time while driving on one way. Anyway the place was great. You never expected like this place. Not too crowded but the tables were full. It was okay sitting on ground, for neutralize your electricity :) there was a fish restraunt and it was clear fast and extraordinarily cheap(not too cheap but if we thought there weren't any competitor it is not necessary to be normal prize). Sivas is an ancient city full if amazing history. The town square area is gorgeous during the day and during the night. The Buruciye is dotted with handcrafted souvenir stands, mostly of the famous Sivas knives (of which i bought several.) Not to be missed in Sivas. Although it is under restoration now but you can see 2 of the doors clearly and the third partially but no possibility to go inside or to see the 4th door. You can't go close but you can walk on a built platform in front of the building and watch. I was happy to hear that an italian teams is leading the restoration with strict standards since a lot of hostorical treasures are ruined with terrible restoration in Turkey. See more..
