   Walked from Dar El Medina hotel in Tunis medina to Gare Routiere Nord at Bab Saadoun for a Louage (shared taxi) about 25 mins. Louage to Teboursouk cost 8 TDM per seat each way and took about 75 mins. Louage driver will put you in contact, or drop you off at a taxi for the second part of the journey, Teboursouk to Dougga. We paid 25 TDM for a return Taxi including waiting time. The journey is about 15 mins, the taxi driver will either wait or return to pick you up at an agreed time. It was extremly hot today but we did the whole site in 90 mins. Absolutely fantastic Roman site with ampitheatre, temples baths, streets and houses. Entrance fee 8 TDM A small cafe and shop to buy drinks before taxi and louage back to Tunis. See more..

   Non-Muslims can not enter the mosque itself, only the courtyard. However the minaret, which you can see from there is rather unusual. It has a clock that runs counterclockwise on one side AND two Stars of David on another. The stars are intended to acknowledge the Jewish community. See more..
